was barely interested in hunger games (which I waited until it was on Netflix to see the first two)

The best part of the trailer was seeing 432 park in the skyline

There was very little to draw from the trailer good or bad, it's OBVIOUS some of YA are just sheep if you shutting this film down based on this teaser, if anything the tone is great...YA talking about CGI...sons, they didn't show enough for YA to draw that conclusion...smh.

So people can say the Ant-Man movie looks wack based on the teaser but not the F4?

People been skeptical of this movie since details and casting was announced.

To be fair I don't think he is saying AntMan should get a pass (or not).

Actually, not sure where that came from because he didn't mention AntMan at all.

Who's talking about AntMan?

I'm basically speakin on the specific criticism on stuff the teaser didn't even display much of, we barely saw Ben transformed, the only thing we saw most of was Johnny lighting up and that didn't look too bad, yet we have dudes in here saying "CGI LOOKS TERRIBLE!"

I've been skeptic about anything Fox puts out, but I will always give a film a shot.

I clearly focused on the snippets of the thing that was shown and IMO the CGI looks terrible. Not sure how much more to the thing they'll add but I personally don't like the tone the trailer set for the "fantastic" four. I will say that the cast doesn't look as bad as I thought they would on camera. Might be able to get past MBJ as Johnny Storm but whatever they do to Dr. Doom won't be forgiven especially if that user name/blogger spoiler was real.

...But I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, it's not like FOX's track record hasn't been stellar.............

:rolleyes

But Fox already proved you wrong with DofP. You swore you would hate it and it wasn't touching ASM2 (which you called a masterpiece) but after you saw DofP you made a complete 180 and I think you even said it was better than ASM2.

So in that regard, couldn't you at least be more enthused about F4?

F4 reaction:
Trailer reminded me of Interstellar and Transcendence but not so much in a good way

 @ Ben Grimm's house having their last name on it. Still not buying Bell as Grimm even though I like Bell as an actor.

Trailer wasn't bad horrible trash though. Definitely leaned heavily on sci-fi rather than a superhero flick. I can have some faint hope that Doom the online blogger thing was not true now.

The Ultimate F4 origins is all over this for sure but I bet they're not teleporting to the N-Zone.
Apparently the synopsis does have something teleportation in it though.

It's not Grimms house but it seems like Bens family (or Ben himself?) own a salvage busniess or a junkyard. The vid panned up too quick but it says "Grimm Salvage" in the sign.

Only thing I can make out is Grimm. I wouldn't even try guessing the next word under it cuz you even make out the shape of the letters.

But if you're saying they're making his family have a salvage yard okay.

Still found it funny from what I could see in the trailer.

It's sad that Doom is stuck with these clowns for the rest of time :smh:

Absolutely unforgiveable.
You have faith in marvel? Have you seen their villains? Stane, whiplash, mandarin, malaketh, red skull, GoTG guy who got distracted by dancibg( name escapes me). None of them were remember able or good.

Loki was the only villain done justice and Thanos is yet to be seen how he is portrayed for a long period of time

 I don't even like this Loki portrayal everyone seems to rave about. From Thor-Thor 2 son has not been compelling to me at all.

One could make the argument that the villains Marvel have left aren't the best anyway but I'd just say they're not using the right ones. To me Iron Man should've definitely been fighting other ppl's villains or at least taking on a whole group by himself. The Cap comics haven't been that good unti they really changed the style to an espionage/black-ops missions take that at least the tone got good. His villains been stale.

Ultron might be the first good step in the right direction going from phase 2 onward.

If you read comics there's only so many good Avengers villains imo. To me when they're comics got good is when they started using other heroes villains (Green Goblin/Osborn, Doom, Thanos, etc.)

Maybe after Infinity War they'll get to dudes like Kang.

Then again, it's not like FOX has really succeeded with any villain other than constantly reusing Magneto

F4 teaser trailer is ok for what it showed, I like the tone of it.

Need to see more trailers though before I think about seeing it in the theaters.

Pratts just wanted everywhere now.

Disney Eyeing Chris Pratt For Indiana Jones Revival

EXCLUSIVE: Here’s one from the helluva good idea department. Marvel offerings are soaring, and Star Wars is being reinvigorated by director JJ Abrams. Now, Disney has just started to turn its attention to reviving the Indiana Jones franchise after buying the rights from Paramount in 2013. I’m cautioned that while things are very early, I hear the studio has set its sights on Chris Pratt as the swashbuckling archaeologist they hope to build the new franchise around, the role made famous by Harrison Ford in Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Pratt jumped to leading-man movie status with his performance in last year’s blockbuster Guardians Of The Galaxy for Marvel and Disney. He starts The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua in April for MGM and Sony, and there’s the inevitable Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel. Disney won’t comment and all this is admittedly early, so let’s chalk it up as a dishy informed rumor for now and keep an eye on it.

No surprise. Pratt does remind me of a modern day Harrison Ford.

I liked Obediah Stane and Loki and Im liking Thanos so far. I defitely have faith that the follow up to Thanos would be good. We aint talking the follow up to Mandarin. Doom would be the big bad of Phase 4 and 5 at the very least

Not feeling this at all.

Pratt is in no way like Harrison Ford.

They must be going for a completely different sort of Indy.

IMO, for Pratt it'd take a complete transformation acting wise if they're trying to capture what the OG did.

^ yea.. up until we haven't seen him pull off smart as yet..

but then look at the work Harrison ford was doing prior to being the professor
