News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

If look back at his movies they all kinda sucked, but Armageddon was cheesy so we let stuff go. His movies used to be fun

I looks like Johnny dies in that F4 trailer...

i know it's probably some foolishness but it looks interesting
The trailer shows mostly the early stuff before they get there powers. I don't believe he dies in the movie , or he may "die" then get his powers

They already have their powers by the time this scene comes up. They're in the "final" containment suits by this part of the trailer... I don't doubt that they finish the film with some "Johnny makes the ultimate sacrifice" bs just to be saved in the end..

They could have some iteration of this scene from the comics and it's rumored for over a year that Annihilus plays a part in the film

He dies but they bring him back with some weird bugs... fits the body horror - croenberg stuff that's been said

When Nerdist first initially reported (and sketched) the suits, they said it was "Act 2" outfits and those drawings were pretty accurate.

They are suppose to be prototypes for the "Act 3" suits that closer resembles the actual comic book suits so the ones we saw int eh trailer aren't their final costumes.

... courtesy of the folks at Nerdist, who apparently got some inside information about the look of the new Fantastic Four costumes, and took the initiative to have an in-house artist create renderings of what we can expect. Rather than being final designs, they are described as "Act II" outfits made by Miles Teller’s Reed Richards, which suggests that they are basically prototypes for what will be the "Act III" threads (which are said to be more in line with the costumes from Marvel Comics).

This is reportedly what Miles Teller will look like as Mr. Fantastic in The Fantastic Four, and while the big emblem/device on his chest goes without mention in the video, there is a focus on the lines you’ll notice around his arms and legs. These are apparently springs that help Reed keep his elongating limbs in check and easy to retract, allowing him in turn to keep his superpowers hidden.

The host in the video admitted that their source only got a quick look at the costume design for Michal B. Jordan’s Human Torch, but there is extra emphasis placed on the fact that this suit has vents which allow him to "blow off some steam" (admittedly I’m not entirely sure what this means). Nerdist also adds that there is a plot element in the film that sees Human Torch get his own television show, which does seem to contradict the aforementioned idea of keeping the Fantastic Four’s powers hidden.

Unlike Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell’s performance as The Thing in the new Fantastic Four was done entirely with motion capture, which basically means that what we see above is basically a drawing of the movie’s CGI rendering of Thing. He looks pretty much exactly how you would expect him to look – though he is described as being more "angular" than the design that was seen in the rumored on-set photo from this past summer. The new source adds that The Thing in the movie is "pretty much indestructible" – which pretty much keeps in line with the comics – but also adds that the government is interested in him as a result, as they desire to create perfect soldiers.

Renderings they made wasn't 100% correct but they got the details right.

"Final containment suit" =/= final suit.

I'm sure by that point they won't have that stupid name  I knew about the Nerdist sketches but i didn't know about the where they would exactly get those suits :smh:

The timeline of the trailer is a little choppy, I thought the OG mission was the one with the janky setup and the real one is the mission with 6 people but now the opposite seems true.

Yall can't be serious believing this lol

considering we know nothing about this film it's not that far fetched. :\

They could go with a variation of that arc and actually set up some interesting sequels featuring Annihilus, Johnny being basically a gladiator slave in the N Zone, freeing the other captives etc.

It would be ****** up if they casted a black man as Johnny and then just kill him in the first film.
It'd convince me that despite giving him another job that Trank doesn't really like Michael B. Jordan, this being the 2nd time in a row he killed his character off in a movie  :smh:

Then I'd think he's ****** up.

That'd be cool. I felt that story line in the comics got dropped a bit quick by Hickman. It was the first time I was interested in a Johnny Storm focused story. He should've remained the ruler of the negative zone for a while. That place has story potential.
They already planned a Fantastic Four 2 and a potential X-Men crossover. They're not going to kill Johnny.
They could always kill him and bring him back to life or worse replace him with a white Johnny with the same powers  :smh:

Anyway since you bring up that fact in mind again about their planning ahead. Since F4 is basically set in modern times, it has me wondering since Apocalypse is set in the 80s what kind of brand new cast of X-Men Fox will move forward with in the X-Men movie after that and in the crossover with the F4.

I feel it'd be dumb to waste my girl Sansa but the X-Men movie after apocalypse and the crossover are probably gonna be like 5-7 years from now and the Jean Grey then will have to have aged at least 25 years.

They have such a convoluted mess of timelines at Fox that is laughable...they have no clue how to mash it all together...the only cohesiveness from their universe is Hugh Jackman

They're gonna have to have some forethought to set up this crossover. There has to be some of it going forward.

I don't care for him much but this Kinberg dude and the rest must have a plan.

Like I swear though, let their be a Fox studios e-mail hack and I wouldn't be surprised if they're even more unorganized and lost than the ppl at SONY.

Bruh.. it's like they wasnt even trying with that timeline. Miss me with that "they didnt plan out ahead" ****.

You dont have to plan out ahead to make sure characters dont de age and ****. Also we should be more lenient on them because of their lack of foresight?
