Anyone see tomorrowland?

Looks like a slow movie going weekend

I did, i actually really enjoyed it. Drug on a little too long but the story was solid imo. Of course Disney and the feel good ending.

LOVED IT...except the last fourth of it. Felt too rushed and pulled out of nowhere. Tryna cop a pin now

Some Epcot and Space Mountain references. And the obvious It's A Small World one.

If Avengers ends up with less than IM3...

Dax Shepard Driving Warner Bros ‘CHiPS’ Film; Michael Pena To Play Ponch

Warner Bros has set Dax Shepard to write, direct and star in a screen version of CHiPS, that TV series that ran from 1977-83 and featured two officers who patrolled the highways of California armed with motorcycles and the tightest khaki cop uniforms in television history. Shepard will play Officer Jon Baker (played in the original by Larry Wilcox), while Michael Pena is attached to play Frank “Ponch” Poncherello, the role Erik Estrada originated.

Michael Pena, why you hurt me so.. Thought we had something with 'end of watch'

He was getting good reviews for playing Cesar Chavez too but I guess it is hard to turn down a paycheck?

Sad ending.

Not sure how I feel about a CHiPS movie. I loved that show as a kid and Ponch was my favorite. I always hated when they had to drive a car lol.

Hopefully the movie is decent. I wish they still showed re-runs.

Special effects and make-up designer Rick Baker to retire and auction off his collection

“I said the time is right, I am 64 years old, and the business is crazy right now,” Baker told KPCC. “I like to do things right, and they wanted cheap and fast. That is not what I want to do, so I just decided it is basically time to get out.”

That League of Extraordinary Gentlemen reboot is on it's way :pimp:

I liked the first one for what it was but as far as comic book adaptions go it's clear it fell short. Not the worst of Alan Moore's work adapted to film though.

Look forward to the new cast. I gotta believe they'll get the tone, intrigue and adventure of the LoEG world right this time around but it is owned by FOX and they botched it the first time so I'm not actually hopeful.
