News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

It was going to happen eventually...Not surprised

     The possibilities...endless

Christopher Nolan was in talks to do some Bond Movies until Sam Mendes took over. Since Sam Mendes was doing a good job they didnt want to change the formula.

A Christopher Nolan Bond film with Idris Elba. :wow: I would faint. I dont think I am ready.

Sony wanted thought about Idris Elba as the next bond but if it goes to WB I doubt well get that.

I still think Reloaded is the superior film, just the OG has the "first time" sentiment attached to it.

The Smiths fight, his warm-up fight with Seraf, the freeway chase, the Chateu (sp), the Merovingian (sp) and for the love of God his girl Persephone (sp), the twins, the music, the Architect. All of that was greatness and upgraded over the first.

Revolutions was the huge letdown to me. Only the final battle was solid, like 10-12 minutes, that's it. :smh:

Reloaded should of ended 20 minutes earlier. Revolutions should of been cut down 2 hours

Nolan is the most overrated director of this era.

I don't know. IMO bond is a supossed to be a campy spy movie. We don't need the uber realism and bond screaming "Swear to me!!!!!!!"

People say the Bond films have already been "Nolanized" and have been *****ing about that for a while, even though the films have been really good

Wow. People slurp nolan so much they're giving credit that he influenced greatness like Casino Royale. The tone of the Craig Bond movies were probably going to be that way anyway since some of the previous Brosnan Bond films were kinda weak. I think Casino Royale's script was already beiing written in 2004 before batman begins came out in 2005.

Casino royale is a masterpiece

Agreed.

Reloaded was the perfect mix for this story of the sci-fi concept and Hollywood entertainment. I can overlook the still young cgi cuz that Neo vs. The Smiths fight was dope as ****.

Plus Monica Bellucci

Revolutions thoguh :smh: That was some bad Dragonball Z nonsense.

I couldn't take my eyes off Monica the entire time she was on screen. She was flat out stunning.

Watch the club scene in Revolutions. Her red dress. :nerd:

Watch the scenes from above, I swear on everything, my eyes find her every single time, without even blinking.

Batman's, Memento, The Prestige and Inception... he gets a pass for trying to be artsy and creative. it worked for six of his movies. Can't agree with the overrated statement.

James Wan Closes Deals to Direct 'Aquaman' and 'Robotech'

James Wan has closed his deal to develop and direct Aquaman, Warner Bros.’ superhero movie that will star Jason Momoa and that is part of its DC Entertainment cinematic universe.

At the same time, Wan has also closed his deal to helm Robotech, Sony’s adaptation of the 1980s anime featuring mechas.

The moves clear up Wan’s post-Furious 7 future. The filmmaker became a hot property after his deft handling on the challenging production and after the movie became a runaway success, with over $1.4 billion in global box office receipts.

Wan is also committed to directing The Conjuring 2: The Endfield Experiment for New Line this fall and will likely be unavailable to tackle his next project until spring 2016.

That looks pretty good, even tho they clearly toned Margot allllllllll the way down. She only looks average in that movie.

keep forgetting chris pine played a character that wasn't all there in 'smokin aces' pretty well

Chris Pine imo is a pretty good actor.. Plenty of untapped potential

I'd love to see him in an Oscar caliber ensemble film. I feel like he could pull off something close to Cooper in American Hustle, for example

Proof.

Only one of those movies, TDK, was actually THAT good. The other were meh at best. Inception was a Nolan jerk off session to himself. Movie was boing a forgettable. His formula is predictable, and now, just down right corny. Interstellar is more than proof of that. That fake "deep" things he puts in

Came back from midnight showing of Insidious Ch3. LOVED IT. Better than the 2nd, comes close to the first
THAT DAMN DARTH MAUL LOOKING DEMON MAKES AN APPEARANCE!!!

Wasn't a fan of interstellar, so we agree there.

Begins was an Awesome origin.
TDK was amazing.
TDKR was good for what it was, a broken finale. I really enjoyed it. Was there problems, yes. That started with Heath passing away... the movie looked amazing.

Inception was the sh-t... cant agree with your anger on that one homie. Even is it was a jerk off session to himself, he created a great movie with a fantastic story and it was shot brilliantly.
Prestige was fun. Memento was nuts. Good stories.

I still can't agree with the "overrated" statement. But if you don't like anything he does I can dig it.

Yesterday, Latino-Review revealed that Jason Statham was in talks to play Bullseye in season two of Daredevil, news which was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from fans. According to Bloody Disgusting, the British actor "was legitimately in heavy negotiations for the role and the leak killed it. Perhaps his agent saw the positive uproar and instantly upped the actor’s asking fee? Perhaps the studio spotted the same excited reaction and preemptively killed the deal out of fear of Statham’s management going for more money? Who knows. The bottom line is that yesterday the Crank star was at the top of the list and deep in negotiations and today Marvel has moved on to other pastures."

I see people in here letting time delude them into thinking matrix reloaded is good.

I'm impressed at the mental gymnastics it takes to confuse your self into thinking Reloaded is good let alone better than the original.

The Matrix is danm near the platonic ideal for a sci fi film.

I thought from moment one Reloaded was better.

OG certainly deserves cred for bein first, but the sequel certainly upped it. Fight sequences were better, story was easier to move now that Neo embraced his path, the first 40 minutes of Matrix took awhile to move, Reloaded certainly did not.

Might have had a little more hollow dialogue, but it wasn't egregious or anything. Long winded maybe. (Architect, Merovingian, etc)
