The live-action take on Katsuhiro Otomo's classic manga moving forward, Akira may have found its Kei. Twitch reports that The Twilight Saga star Kristen Stewart been offered to play the female lead.

Previously, Akira was famously adapted as an anime film in 1988, although this take on the story is said to transplant the action from "Neo-Tokyo" to "New Manhattan".

Maybe I should rephrase my question. When will we see an updated thorough trailer of Amazing Spider-man.
I really hope the CGI improves when the film releases.

My best estimate, is again, if not this month, definitely by the end of the year.
Much like the TDKR trailer that came out in July the initial footage from ASM is essentially a "teaser," which I agree with you on.

And, I will not even address the possible train wreck that may wind up being, the "live-action Akira."

Kristen Stewart is actually a decent actress when she's not in those ******ed twilight movies.
It's going to be weird having all those white people in the movie with Japanese names.
