News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

I can't believe they're killing Gwen Stacy in this film. I thought they would save it for the 3rd :smh:

But in other news Ted turner is still getting that check
 
I wonder if they'll keep CP jokey and light like the cartoon or a bit more serious given the way the world is worse pollution wise.

Joss Whedon Teases Quicksilver And Scarlet Witch's "Huge" Role In THE AVENGERS 2



As you will already know by now, Bryan Singer and 20th Century Fox created a fair bit of controversy when it was revealed that they also had plans for the character of Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Regardless, that hasn't stopped The Avengers 2 director Joss Whedon from forging on with his plans to use him and his sister the Scarlet Witch, and at the Saturn Awards, Whedon would reveal that they do indeed play a major role in the movie.

"It's a huge part of the movie, I'm really excited about it and I don't know what they're doing. I'm determinedly not knowing. They'll do their thing and I have to do mine."

This shouldn't really come as too much of a surprise. While Singer reportedly only wants Quicksilver for a single action sequence, Marvel Studios and Joss Whedon clearly have big plans for his and the Scarlet Witch's introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What do you guys think? Sound off in the usual place!

:lol: sorry bro I was so caught up in the news, I just want this amazing Spider-Man series to be done right, with Jaime foxx's inclusion I think it will be though

I still have no idea why Whedon is so persistent on the inclusion of Scarlett witch and quicksilver but he hasn't given me the right to question him yet so he knows what he's doing lol

And have the slightest hunch that vin diesel will be the new Ben Grimm....

If you liked Avengers, just trust Whedon. He just said they play a big part so obviously he isn't obsessing over the characters just to do so. This isn't Wolverine Origins where they just put Gambit in there because of the fan base. Hell Singer sounds more like a fanboy by just using Quiksilver for a single action shot.
 
Quicksilver for one action scene reminds me of X2 when they just threw in Psylocke as random Asian woman and she played no role at all :lol:
 
They never even said her name iirc. She just looked like Psylocke, kind of, she just has that purple highlights on her hair so you assume it's psylocke. :lol:

That was on a few weeks ago on FX. The Gambit scenes are what got me :smh: Not even a big Gambit fan but still :stoneface:

Won't go any deeper in to it. Cuz I know even thinking about that bum will.I.am would get me pissed.

They always try to get someone with a recognizable or semi-recognizable name. Just hire someone who is good and looks the part. Give some unknown actors a chance.
