Why does everybody think Nolan is the only one who can write a good batman movie? did I like his movies? Yes but I also liked the Tim burton bay and too. Michael Keaton was decent IMO. I loved batman returns when I was a kid

shoot, i still love batman returns. so dark and gritty so many epic scenes. but that'd be dope if they made a dark knight returns live movie. :nerd: :smokin
 
Also, from the way they announced it, this movie will be the official man of steel sequel with batman appearing in it.

Eh,

If they don't get this right I'm ripping it to shreds. I'm excited cuz the idea of it is what I always wanted, always wanted, but I really don't trust the dudes involved. Plus it being the official MOS doesn't help at all. No quote from a dude with a cool voice will change that. Title needs to be World's Finest.

Wack like dark knight rises where batman quit for 8 years, got a magic knee brace, fought crime till he got his back broken, healed from said broken back in like 3 months, then faked his death and quit again? Wack like that?

that logo's weak they need to tweak the batman vs superman movie they never made

Looks like people will already hate this film, Bats is sounding like it'll be Snyders version.
I am really excited for this but there are people who really hate Snyder and anything he does.

Snyder is co-writing the story with David S. Goyer, who will then pen the screenplay. Production is expected to begin in 2014, with an anticipated release date inSummer 2015.

The new film brings back Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder as producers. This time, Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas are serving as executive producers, along with Benjamin Melniker and Michael E. Uslan.

Thomas offered, “Whilst our ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy is complete, we have every confidence that Zack’s fresh interpretation will take the character in a new and exciting direction. His vision for Superman opened the door to a whole new universe and we can’t wait to see what Zack does with these characters.”

The film is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, and Batman characters created by Bob Kane, published by DC Entertainment

They shoulda did mos 2 with maybe a bats cameo and tease the flash followed by a flash then the justice league. I honestly don't wanna sit through another batman reboot
 
It's not a Batman reboot, we just won't see the Batman Nolan created. The film does look and sound like an MOS sequel with Batman in it. Even the logo looks clearly shows Batmans logo behind Supermans shield unlike the Superman/Batman logos we've seen in the past or in their series. We'd have to wait and see.
 
Damn I didn't know there was growing hatred for Snyder. He's not great but he's good for the most part and as a director his visuals are really really good. To me the main problem is getting a better writer and getting rid of Goyer. He can help with the story but not write the script. To me you get someone better to writer a stellar script and there's nothing Snyder could to mess it up, if anything his strengths would make the movie better.

I really don't get ppl saying this is too soon. I wanted Batman/Superman right after TDKR instead of MO and if I had it my way that's exactly what would've happened. I just feel this should've been an outright World's Finest movie not MOS 2 guest starring Batman. I don't care if they push back the JL movie or an actual MOS sequel with just Supes in it. They just need to get Batman/Superman right.

On another note, does anyone know the deal with Jackman's contract (or lack thereof) for the X franchise with FOX?

why are they only making one movie a year? Flash should be replaced w/ a Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman movie and roll right into justice league
