Damn near 50 year old Josh Brolin being cast to play Batman would be the most underwhelming news ever :smh:

The new Batman should probably be someone a little more low key or even unknown. None of this Gosling/JGL crap

My personal pick right now would be Joel Edgerton

I actually think Josh Brolin wouldn't be too bad...

Why not just bring back Clooney if they want Bats to be older...
 
Because Clooney would never do another Batman film again. He hated that film.


Clooney is also the guy who kept a photo of himself as Batman prominently displayed on his office wall, as a cautionary reminder of what can happen when you make movies solely for commercial reasons.

I think Chris Hemsworth would be a cool Bruce. His acting is whatever but Batman don't need good acting anyway :lol:

If they need an old Batman for a Batman Beyond film, might as well get Adam West.

But in all honesty, Ryan Gosling is a very good actor, if you can't say that by now, you haven't seen enough of his movies.
Check out Drive, Half Nelson, Blue Valentine, Lars & the Real Girl, The Place Beyond the Pines, Gangster Squad, Ides of March and even Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Everyone wanting him in films isn't a fluke or hype. With that said, I am not convinced he will make a good superhero though.
