Definitely let us know how it is RFX, I planned on it seeing it Saturday night but if it's that bad, I'll just go to the Sunday matinee so I won't be as pissed with the cheaper tickets.

Oh I forgot they haven't cast anybody as Ant Man and the movie has been set for a while. Simon Pegg though, I can dig it. Of course he fits a Scott Lang better and Eric O'Grady even more than Hank Pym.
 
hasn't Armie Hammer been rumored for Ant Man for a while? I know after that Lone Ranger disaster it's a long shot he'll be the lead in a blockbuster for a while

He'll be starring along side with Cavill in Guy Ritchie's U.N.C.L.E. If he isn't Antman, Hammer or Joel Edgerton are my choices for Daredevil.

Simon Peggs and Edgar Wright has been playing around with that joke for months now while promoting their movie, it is still a joke to this day, well at least until they officially announce it.


Pegg has returned to his Twitter feed with an update that clearly suggests his fans may have jumped the gun.

"FFS the Internet," he writes. "All I did was point at the central character in my dear friend's next movie, because I'm excited for him."

Also just came back from KiackAss 2 and the movie was enjoyable but isn't great. Good action, a laugh here and there but nothing spectacular.

Pacing was terrible and cutting from scene to scene was like done by an amateur. Definitely the directors fault, movie could have been done better.

My main worry now is that this guy will direct the upcoming XForce movie and this film didn't give me much confidence. Remove the comedy (which the XForce could understandably lack) and I could see people hating that film.


The first one is infinitely better. If you could go to a matinee to save a few bucks, I'd suggest that.

Glad to hear it was decent. How was Carrey in the film?
 
Carrey was underwhelming, he was ok but not amazing like Cage was int he first one. He just didn't stand out to me.

Just go to the movie with low expectations and expect to see a summer blockbuster. Nothing more and nothing less and you'll enjoy the film.
 
KickAss2 might not even make second place this weekend, they might get beat by The Butler and We're The Millers.
 
Jeff Wadlow is just currently scripting X-force right now and hasn't been confirmed to direct. He was a likely choice but plans could definitely change now that Kick-*** is a disappointment.

aniston is an old awg. Not surprised other old awg's still go out to watch her movies.
 
Hasn't a majority of her films a flop? At least the ones where she is the main starring roles. I think her biggest hit is usually where there is a popular actor(s) next to her, I think her biggest hit before this was Horrible Bosses and she had a smaller part in that. In this film, I think it is mostly Sudeikis that is carrying her ad likely what makes the film tolerable.


And KickAss 2 might finish in 4th place this weekend if Elysium holds up a few more thousand dollars today. I think they are projected to tie at ~$13m at the moment.
