News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

Most video games don't go for famous names. I know I didn't like GTA for w/e voices were doing the characters.

Love Spader but I know him best for Boston Public so I automatically thought Ultron is gonna be a funny sarcastic condescending jackass  Think he'll do good though. He can be sinister and I'm sure they'll use that robot filter voice thing.

Marvel needs to reboot Daredevil ASAP

Matt Murdock as a character has so much potential to build on, the franchise itself has potential to do very well if executed right.

The Affleck joint was pure BUNZ.

The movie was so goddamn sappy, it took away from the bad *** hell-bent vigilante that is DD. Dont even get me started on the wine red leather motorcycle get up :smh:

Movie could have totally passed as PG.

I did think Colin did great as bullseye though. The airplane peanut scene was awesome

If marvel can put some legit effort into DD i think it can be equally successful as the original blade as long as they follow a similar, rated R formula. Cult status.

dare I suggest baby goose as Matt Murdock?

guess that deads the whole JARVIS as Ultron theory... which would have been dope because Bettany has a great voice and storyline wise it works

You're selling me on Gosling as DD :smokin I mostly been thinking JGL but he fits well.

Love Hall but don't think he'd work. He's been Dexter for so long I can only see him as just an angry crazy villain (Mr. Hyde) or some devious/genius villain (Mr. Sinister, Purple Man, Hobgoblin). I can't see him as some good guy hero

Not necessarily. They can still go with that story line but just give JARVIS a voice change for his more villainous change in to Ultron. Still sucks for Bettany though. I do agree he could've did it well.

On the other hand, I think he'd make a great villain; Mephisto, Bullseye?, Kang, Baron Zemo perhaps

Watching "Now you see me" and Franco's little brother would actually wouldn't be a bad fit for a young Gambit....I like that kid...he needs to get some more notable roles.

Benedict Cumberbatch as a Sith Lord in the upcoming Star Wars trilogy is being heavil rumored :pimp:

He just has to clear his schedule to make it work. Apparently withdrew from Del Toro's Crimson Peak for that.

Smart move imo; Khan, Sherlock, Assange, Hawking, the Necromancer and now a Sith.

That's the guy I was sayin could play Thrawn.

He'll make a good Sith absolutely.......curious why they're starting there tho.

Cumberbatch was a beast in Star Trek and he has that good, deep villain voice. Basically be like Khan with alien makeup, a black robe and red lightsaber.

Sith isn't a race. Its a philosophy that embraces the dark side of the Force.

Darth Maul was a Dathomirian.

He doesn't need alien makeup to be a Sith. He can be completely human.

I know. The last 2 Sith we saw were Palpatine and Anakin. It'd just be badass to see him as something different. Is there usually just a Master and Apprentice or can there be a lot more out there?

Oh, there can be more........ *huge grin*

They can adjust things many ways. They can use Nightsisters, crazy Dark Jedi's, and then just flat out Sith.

Rule of Two stuff is more pre Palpatine era. Not sure if the movies will stick with that yet. We'll see.

Are the movies going to be based on official continuation books? I know you and other people were talking about some in the official thread. What do you recommend I read if I want to find out what happened after episode 6?

After seeing Elysium (which was just ehhh )
Sharlto Copley was probably the best thing about the movie. I wouldn't mind Shartlo playing (dare I say it) The Joker. With the combine creepiness and rage he had in the film it could work.
