News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

^They cant call him a mutant or reference his relationship to Magneto. They can still call him Quiksilver. As much as Elizabeth Olsen would be a great Wanda Maximoff, they shouldnt be butchering the characters like this

Yeah but when you think antman, you think avengers. To me he was never a big (or that interesting) of a character to stand alone. They could've used that production money they're using for antman on another hulk film....or give Ed Norton the money he was looking for in the first place

And that Norton problem is more than money, you really don't know who to believe but there is a bigger issue there. Plus the Hulk films have been a huge bust in comparison to their other films and they know they can roll out a Hulk film and make it epic later on.

Plus you've been rolling with Marvel doing this great and amazing line-up of films and now you are doubting them? They obviously know what they are doing so let them roll and how about you wait on what other films there are for Phase 3?
 
No reason to doubt Marvel now.

For a while I've thought they're doing Ant Man cuz it's actually low risk with potential high reward as opposed to trying a Black Panther or Captain Marvel or Heroes for Hire movie cuz they don't want to **** those up. They obviously got a good director that really wants to do a movie about Ant Man so they're gonna let him rock and he'll basically be the test run for experimental characters in solo films (cuz Ant Man is way more of a risk than trying to make Cap or Thor popular enough to get sequel). To me that's why Guardians of the Galaxy is getting the majority of hype and bigger push.

I meant in terms of antman having his own standalone film as opposed to him being in a group. Like I said antman never stood out to me, when I think of him I think of the avengers. The only thing that doesn't have me completely against the idea of antman having a solo film is what they have planned for phase 3 so like you said they obviously know what they're doing.

You should be glad I'm not hatin on DC tonight :lol:

Your initial post just makes no sense with that follow up though and that was my point.

You complain that Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch are in the film while BP and Antman isn't, really sounds like you feel Antman were being undermined but he has his own film so you are actually saying he should be in the Avengers film and not worth a solo film?

How the hell are people suppose to get that from this?

I don't mind her, she does resemble the twins but Elizabeth is less anorexic and much more talented acting-wise.
 
Jon Snow may be Reed Richards in the Fantastic Four movie

Jon Snow is about to go from knowing nothing to knowing pretty much everything if Fox has its way. Variety discovered the shortlists for the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, which include Kit Harington as Reed Richards, Saoirse Ronan as Sue Storm, and Chronicle's Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch.

Here's the full wishlist:

Sources tell Variety that Kit Harington, Jack O’Connell and Miles Teller are in line to get test offers to read for the role of Richards while Saoirse Ronan, Kate Mara and Margot Robbie (sources now saying Robbie will not be testing) are being tested for [Sue] Storm. Michael B. Jordan is the only actor currently being mentioned as a possibility to play Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, but that could change.

I have no problem with Jordan as the Human Torch, although I am curious as to how the reboot will handle Sue and Johnny's mixed races. Maybe somebody was adopted?

That means Sue Storm "The Invisible Woman" will have to be black/mixed, Johnny Storm was adopted, or them being
brother and sister won't be part of the movie.
 
They have to be brother and sister. I mean aren't the F4 called the first superhero family or something?

Its not that big of a deal to me either as long as it is better than F4 and F4:RSS.

As much as I'd love to see a black superhero headline in a film, I just don't think it has to be Johnny Storm.

To keep it 100% Evans portrayal of Johnny was perfect....dude fit the bill incredibly well....
