Yeah movies were pretty bad, but as stand alone characters, Johnny and Doom were the best things about that franchise, I actually think Doom is one of the better played comic book villains yet on marvels end....I don't think anyone will ever touch Ledgers Joker, no hype behind it but that was the best performance out of a comic book character EVER.
 
Damn they're really going for a young version of the F4. Don't know how I feel about it. Not digging the short list for Sue so far except for Margot Robbie and although I don't think she fits I still want to bang Kate Mara.

I think marvel has done pretty well with villains..

Tom Hiddleston as Loki

Tim Roth as blonsky/abomination

Hugo weaving as red skull

Jeff bridges as Obadiah stane

Michael fassbender as magneto

Bryan cox as Stryker

That's some weird casting for the fantastic four. Kit Harrington seems young for playing Reed and the actress mentioned is also pretty young for Sue.

He died. Then was brought back. All the tie-in stories about his death felt like a waste.

I am also anti a black Johnny storm. I mean Michael B. Jordan is awesome. His performance in chronicle was dope but....Johnny Storm isn't black.
 
Racist lames his race has literally nothing to do with his car origin or power .Any Race can play Johnny storm . His origin Is literally little brother who loves tech and cars of sue Richards .i swear you can truly spot somebodies racism if they get up in arms over a fictional character who could easily be played by any race and his race is no bearing on his character.

Racist? Lol I'm black...I'm actually African. Just a big fan of comics. No need to **** up source material. Lets get some GOOD FF movies first before we go around and start trying to change 50 something years of history

It's a movie it literally does not exist in the same realm of the comics .He won't hurt anything by playing as the human torch what would be a weak cop out of they make use storm white on some old let's balance this out if her brother is gonna be played by a black guy it would only make sense she get played as a black woman .

lol. I am Nigerian. So how am I racist for hating these ridiculous changes that Fox thinks is okay to make? **** I even think John Stewart is the best GL so far. Fox has movie rights to my favorite franchise and a comic that was once my second favorite and they can't do anything right in these ******g movies. It's disrespectful to the fans

Not okay with a black hero being played by a white actor.

These dudes crying about keeping a character exactly like they are in the comics even though it's not the most important thing about the character aren't racists. They're just the same comic nerds whining about Hugh Jackman being too tall to be Wolverine and the hair color of an actor that doesn't match the comic character. It's that jacked up traditionalist mind frame where they want it to be exactly what they want it to be and if it's not they'll complain on the internet.

Darwin's powers are different but yeah, first to die was ****** up and just plain hollow drama when they did it.

I'd say I'd have no problem with certain black heroes being another race. The thing is there aren't a lot of black heroes in the first place and their characters were created with them being that specific race in mind. It's usually apart of their origin.

Few exceptions, like John Stewart for example until you go deeper in to the character's history, although you could make dude a white unorthodox Jew and it'd still work :lol:
