The bat trilogy is good but highly overrated. I remember everyone flat out bashing batman begins, some didn't even know it existed. TDK had the whole world thinking Nolan had turned batman into some type of psychotic thriller that was deep...
 
I understand the nostalgic-ness of Batman 89 and Returns but c'mon guys :lol: you're really going to put that over the Nolan trilogy.

Just heard the latest Fatman on Batman podcast with Kevin Smith. And I just can't defend that film.

Batman 89 one of many duds...
- "Let's get Nuts" scene in Vale's apartment. Yea because when I think Bruce Wayne I think of Michael Keaton and that line :lol:
- What's up with Alfred leading Vicky to the Batcave.
- Batman kills an army of men in the chemical plant.
- the opening scene, instead of stopping the muggers attack the father and his family... batman watches :lol:
- the Batwing gets taken down by a...... Pistol

what can you expect for a movie being filmed in that time period?? i love nolans film too but it def had its cheesy moments :rolleyes "have a nice trip, see you next fall." thats all im gonna say...
 
I love me some Olga K., but she is waaaay too skinny.

I wish I could put the brunettes head on the blondes body....that is what WONDER WOMAN should be. Tall and muscular. Imposing. She should not be some debutante. She's a freaking Amazon.

Can they just call this film Worlds finest now because that's what it will most likely be. Oh the potential this film could've had if they kept bale as batman for this film. DC is trying to get you to except a new batman, an "older" batman and his older estranged sidekick...in a superman sequel :stoneface:
 
Over the course of the next 5-6 years, there should be a new batman w/ affleck, a new WW movie and maybe a team-up of GL, Flash and Cyborg movie leading into WORLDS FINEST where the league is put together....to face....MONGUL.



then phase II you start with the sidekicks and lead into YOUNG JUSTICE (damn I loved that cartoon)....to face VANDAL SAVAGE



phase III intertwine the above to face DARKSEID
 
yea.. not as good as the other ones.. 

plus, isnt iceman an omega level mutant?

i get it's a comedy bit, but at least the others he went at were low hanging fruit.. iceman is theoretically one of the most powerful dudes in the x-men universe

Really gotta use felatio just because most people agree with something you don't? BB was the set up and TDK set the bar HIGH for ALL comic movies. I have yet to see anything surpass it.
When you start name calling and nitpicking small details as flaws then you're pretty much just being an "anti-stan".

(this is the AoA version of him but it doesnt really make a difference. Just shows under the right conditions he could be amazing)

Dude can create free roaming clones of himself ffs. And Xavier should be able to see the potential in mutants. Angel was funny because Xavier and Angel have acknowledged that his powers arent that great.

maybe the issue with the dark knight trilogy is that we were promised bale taking batman super dark. then he got over shadowed by heath and by hardy in a sense. shoot anne was great as kyle. I don't feel like bale ever got to take the character as far as he could have, but that may be because nolan does have a weakness in shooting action scenes.

batman was overshadowed by the villains in the last 2 movies but that happens when there are strong adversaries. He also talked in that stupid voice that people made fun of.

Yeah but the voice made sense even before they released the reason Bale came up with it. IMO not having K. Holmes come back hurt the film. It would have sold why Bruce wants Rachel so bad.

Yes I do. It's a perfect metaphoric description of what I see going on when this topic is raised. If you don't like it that's fine.

I don't mind being viewed as an "anti-stan". Its not like any of my views deal with "nitpicking small details as flaws". Sounds like a compliment in this context. I'm not a fan of being so close minded about something that all I'd ever do is endlessly praise it and if someone disagrees I don't stop to consider the other side. I'm also not down with changing history when discussing something so I can make it seem things were completely in line with my opinions.

thor couldnt handle algrim OR Malekith



only reason they were defeated is cuz others interfered

loki got rid of algrim with a blackhole grenade

dr selvig got rid of malekith by transporting him to another planet

thor really aint do much but distract the bad guys long enough for somebody else to do something

Finally saw Thor TDW. Amazing movie imo. Probably the best Avengers Flick yet if not IM1. Only problem is the electricity in the movie. Looked like a child did the special effects. That and the post credit scenes SUCKED! If that is the art direction of Guardians.... lord help us :smh:

Don't see how people were complaining this flick was too cartoony. The Avengers is easily the most cartoony. I didnt enjoy the Avengers nearly as much as everyone else because of this.

Can't wait to see Cap. TWS.
