News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

Eh, it makes a little sense to make Magneto and Apocalypse one in the same to an extent but Apocalypse aint about mutants over humans, he's about survivors over failures with only a little favoritism for mutants. That's where they split ways. Apocalypse don't mind killing millions of mutants or experimenting on them if it means stronger ones arise in their place.

I figure this'll be some possession sort of deal (which holds true to how Apocalypse gets down) for Magneto and he'll eventually expel him.

Apocalypse aint no alien though but searching through time and space is a hint he isn't. May even leave the door open for Cable to show up for that X-Force spinoff. Sinister better be in this movie then.

But apocalypse was chosen by the celestials to make sure evolution takes its path it kinda does make sense. I wouldnt say just a LITTLE preference for mutants. His preference is strong!

Anyone wanna guess what he was referring to?

Let it be known that we're not going to spoil the absolute end of the film because, truth be told, it's a pretty spectacular ending that has some tidbits in the future that you'll have to see to believe.

I'm guessing a Spider-man appearance. "Spectacular?"

If the mutants show they can't survive Nur will wipe them out. He's said as much several times. His preference doesn't supersede his ideology. Besides if something showed up that evolved way past mutants he'd focus on them after wiping out humans and mutants or at least try to.

If the celestials don't like his methods, they can always choose someone else to be the shepherd of evolution like they've done in the past and/or remove him, which they've done.

That's from the X-Men guys right? I doubt it's Spidey but on the other hand I'd be really shocked if FOX managed to cut a crossover deal with SONY before Disney/Marvel Films did.

FTR, the Gentleman is from a Spider-Man: Sinister 6 novel not any in continuity 616 comic. I've only recently heard about him. Pretty cool premise/origin though.

Doesn't Wolverine function as Cable in the new comics? It seems like they're going that route at the moment

nahhh we would of heard something about the contract or something by now lol.. plus that universe over at Sony is already too convoluted

I just think it was a random superlative thrown into it... Now if he said Fantastic you'd have my attention

I love that they're going hard sc-fi with the X-Men universe now.. One of the places where you can get weird in is X-men lol it's like the MGS of all the Marvel properties

Well I dont read wolverine comics so I am not sure how much time traveling he has done but time traveling and alternate universes and such is a big part of the x-men. Cable and the X-Force are not the only ones doing it. But I am positive Cable is still the Cable of the X-Men universe.

Any pics of this metal arm wolverine?

The shots from the pics are in the official trailer. The photos were just bad quality, think they mistook the detail in the new costumes for some type of metal/wiring. I hope they still introduce Cable but i wouldn't be surprised if they went that other route because to Fox it's Hugh >> X-Men

Is Oscorp behind all Spider-Man's villians in the Ultimate universe?
No but Oscorp is responsible for a good deal of them but not all.

Nah, he kinda did when he was running X-Force while Cable was raising his daughter but not really.

Funny you say that cuz in the Ultimate universe Cable is the future version of Wolverine word to the link you posted. As for the movies I don't know though, they haven't really been copying the main MU or the UU, mostly their own things as they cherry pick from each. I mean the X-Men didn't start off as a fully attended school for mutants with a secret base underground that never got in to conflict until Magneto showed up. First Class was completely it's own thing, nothing like any of the comics. So I'm not sure they'd do that to Wolverine. Would save them time on introducing Sinister and explaining Cable's purpose in relation to Apocalypse.

Saw The Wolverine in theaters and was like eh...the after credit scene is the best part of the movie

I didn't even like that scene. Even Wolverine was confused and was like the ending to x3 was so dumb as was the movie itself.

It happened so fast I'll admit but once you saw them start talking about sentinels on TV and you see magneto using his powers and Professor X...reborn again :smile:rolleyes) you have to get a little excited.......even though I know DoFP is most likely gonna suck

I was wondering if they could've gave Charles the ability to walk in that new body. I can't remember whose body they used. Maybe it was his doppelgänger who was also paralyzed.

Yeah they used that kid that Moira was watching over and I believe Charles was telling her about a technique he knows where he could transfer his consciousness or something to that nature. Forgive me for the vague response, it's been a while since I've watched that film. I have nightmares of cursing juggernauts and underdeveloped cyclops' and shadowcats'
