News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

There's only been one movie. I'm sure they'll give Hawkeye some shine in the future.

Am I the only one who really do not care for a better character development for Hawkeye? Doesn't help that Renner just looks boring as f too.

He and Scarlett could go back to Budapest and get blown up to never return for all I care.

Every dc movie main star gonna come with a star, direct, and produce contract lol

You know they just did that to take him away from marvel

Somewhat surprised but the Rock out grossed RDJ in 2013. Money their movies made, not how much they made in case some of you guys gets confused.

1. Dwayne Johnson - $1.3 billion
2. Robert Downey Jr - $1.2 billion
3. Steve Carell - $964 million
4. Vin Diesel - $887 million
5. Sandra Bullock - $862 million
6. Paul Walker - $789 million
7. Billy Crystal - $743 million
8. John Goodman - $743 million
9. Chris Hemsworth - $701 million
10. Jennifer Lawrence - $700 million

Really not even sure how Steve Carell made the 3rd position, outside of Despicable me 2 what other movies did he have this year? Anchorman 2 isn't even out yet. I guess Despicable Me 2 just made that much money? Close to a billion?

Hawkeye :x

The Avengers movie would be much better without him no doubt in my mind.

Jeremy Renner is one of the most boring people to watch onscreen. Hawkeye was so useless in the Avengers movie. That little subplot where he gets mind controlled could of been used for something worth watching.

Hank Pym is a huge part of the avengers, why havent they focused on his character?....i like his chemistry with Stark and the rest of the team in the cartoon and dude is the smartest of them all, makes Stark sound like a pre-schooler, so is Paul Rudd confirmed to play him?....and Rashida Jones confirmed for Wasp, after watching the cartoon they'll actually be great fits for the roles.
He's really not and he's definitely not the smartest. Not sure which cartoon you're referring to but he fits and all but most of comic history it's a keep him or leave him situation. He has a bunch of personal character arcs about being insecure around everybody else intellectually and power wise which leads to things like Ultron and other breakdowns.

Banner is the smartest of them all, just like Hulk is the strongest of them all.
they're focusing on making an individual Ant Man movie, so I guess they figured they would let that take precedence instead of inserting extraneous characters. I have to believe that he'll be in the next movie since its supposed to be about Ultron

He should have been a primary just like cap, thor and stark...his movie could have been shared with wasp....better late than never but I'm excited to see him on film, also black panther is simply AMAZING
They wanted some norms on the team to relate to the viewing audience even though I feel that's questionable logic. In early storyboards Whedon had Wasp included to make it a 6 person team. It seems Ant Man was never in the plans for Avengers or much of Marvel cinematic until Wright came in wanting to do it and had a good enough idea that Fiege supported him and never ditched up to the point.

Yeah I think Rudd has got the part, not that it's been officially announced yet I think.

Not really. Me thinking this is a bad idea aside (cuz of Goyer and trying to tackle Sandman in anything that's not multiple films), whether there was a Sandman Spidey villain or not wouldn't matter. This is a vertigo book adaption. I highly doubt it'll be tied in to any other DC superhero movie they're building. This is likely gonna have a Watchmen/League of Extraordinary Gentlemen execution, at best a From Hell execution.

Is Banner really the smartest? I figured Reed or even Doom would be smarter.

I think I remember Stark stating Reed and Pym are the smartest humans(?) on Earth.

It is almost entirely Despicable Me 2. The worldwide gross was 918 million.. his other two movies were Burt Wonderstone (which bombed) and The Way Way Back (which was excellent but not expected to make tons of money.

^ I think you'd get a different answer depending on who you ask

I'd personally go with Reed he has way more knowledge even if hes matched in IQ or w/e by Banner

Adult Val Richards > all, though

Regarding The Rock outgrossing RDJ this year; It's not that surprising considering he had like 4 or 5 big name movies this year while RDJ was in only ONE movie

Been watching Earth mightiest heroes cartoon....Pyn left the group now tho....Hawkeye they dropped the ball on, Renner simply can't pull him off properly, based on the cartoon dude has a smart mouth and is a clown, Funny is not in Renners DNA  Reynolds could have pulled it off.

That's cuz the Rock was in like 60 movies this year

 Nah not really but he says it the same way Hulk says his motto. I just caught it again in the Avengers Assemble cartoon where DOOM rules the world.

The smartest is Reed bar none. Everybody else imo is just guess work really.

Only other official list I'd consider credible is the super geniuses the Intellgencia (a group of super genius super villains) kidnapped in order to succeed in some plan which consisted of Stark, Reed, Panther, Banner, Pym and like 3 others to make 8. Doom was on the bad guy side so he didn't count. I think it took Adameus Cho and some Hulk to save them.

Have you guys played Lego: Marvel Superheroes? The game is fun. Okay, that's all.
