News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

I do feel bad for Reynolds, he seems to have gotten tied up with bad writing and terrible directing than anything else.

He still has that stereotypical hero look though, you can almost put him in any heroes tights and it could work, look-wise. He can actually act when they aren't giving him corny and stupid lines to say though, I mean he wasn't bad as Wade in Origins at all, it wasn't even him as BarakClops.

But these days, people are probably running away from him at this point. An R-Rated and well written Deadpool film could resurrect it all for him though.
name a movie that he was actually good in

Off the top of my head:

Buried
Smokin Aces
Amityville Horror
Safe House

As mentioned before he wasn't bad in Blade III, film sucked but he was good in it.
He was funny in Van Wilder and he was alright in The Proposal.

I mean I wouldn't put him up for an Oscar but I've seen him act well in enough films that he can make it work with the right script.
1. yes
2. i didnt see the hype movie was all that
3.
4. woulda been butt cheeks if it wasnt for Denzel "plays the same character/gets shot in the arm every single movie BUT can still entertain us" Washington

You said films he was good in, not film he was great in. He was definitely above average on those films considering dude has been stereotypes as the cracking wise character. Just like Evans, he was the same thing and was the main reason he was given the role of Human Torch but everytime he isn't giving a sarcastic remark and it is believable, that is an improvement and good.

no paranormal activity love in here?????
im a go see it tonight
im also kinda hyped for that devils due
seems like a modern rosemary's baby

You have to consider his role in the film though, he was practically under Lokis control throughout the whole film so the sarcastic characteristic wouldn't have been shown anyways.
He would've completely made up for it during the battle in NYC. Jokes upon jokes upon jokes while shooting aliens and when he shot at Loki. Still the minor role he and Widow had but a bit better than what we got.

At least then it would've been warranted when Marvel had the nerve to say Hawkeye was the breakout star of Avengers.
I don't know, I guess his type of character is just not needed (it's practically the Deadpool, Flash, Hal, etc... persona) especially with RDJ there throwing his own jabs, even if it was Reynolds I am just not sure he could hang or he will just be underwhelming. I guess a banter between the two could work well but I am just not sure it is needed as long as RDJ is there.
This is true but I wouldn't mind him being there to be the sarcastic smartass that jabs and throws quips at all of the eggheads. Kind of under mind them in a way. I mean I see this type of dialog in the Avengers cartoon and certain comics all the time. So I can see how it'd work.

EDIT

Reynolds was really good in Safe House. One of the reasons it's worth re-watching cuz he doesn't **** up the plot and you actually can get in to the situation his character is in. Complaining about Denzel is irrelevant, he was the reason ppl went to see the movie and part of why it was good but not the sole reason.

He was also really good while he was stuck in that coffin buried alive.

I liked Van Wilder and that movie with Anna Faris. Also that one where he had a daughter.

Pretty amped for this but with a blizzard about to hit us, I'll have to wait until Sat.

Didn't even know a blizzard was going to hit the northeast until last night. Hate the damn snow.

There aint no real secrets. I think it was a bluff as far as that mini or a misunderstanding that led to fights.

On my way to see paranormal activity now
Ill give my thoughts after
Mind u I liked the first 3
Didn't care to much for the 4th one

Not really sure if anyone cares about this but there's bound to be some in here who grew watching this:

I use to watch Veronica Mars and other than the father I don't remember the cast for **** so this trailer's impact is long me due to lack of necessary nostalgia.

I'm just watching cool like damn I really want to smash Kristen Bell and that the story seems okay but not theatrical release level at least for the really good movies.

I wish Veronica Mars was on netflix. I need to get the episodes. It's a show I always wanted to watch.

Samuel L. really works a lot. I like that he does a lot more passion projects now instead of random trash for a check.

I'll def check Kite out. Don't think I've seen the anime/read the GN.

A2 to shoot some scenes in South Africa.... is that a hint...?

Looks Like THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Is Set To Shoot In South Africa

The nature of the shoot is still unknown, but South Africa may be one of several international settings in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Writer and director Joss Whedon revealed previously that “a lot of the sequel has to do with [the team's] place not only in America but in the world.”
