The Grand Budapest Hotel, The LEGO Movie, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Guardians of the Galaxy, Muppets Most Wanted, Rio 2, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Interstellar, Godzilla, The Expendables 3, and the movie I'm probably most excited for is The Monuments Men.

There's also a bunch of other flicks that I'm going to watch just because of the franchise.

Big Hero 6 (just because it might be a game changer)
Amazing Spiderman 2 (lost interest after that Rhino part in the trailer and don't care for every villain being made by Oscorp)

Everything else can be downloaded even IF I want to see it.

How do you guys know which Mondo Posters are going to be released? I'll check maybe once every couple days and every time I checked it's a new poster that's already sold out lol

He does all of his release info and release links via twitter.

I know there has to be bots for them (as sad as that is) because they sell out in seconds sometimes.

I'm not eager to see a whole lot so my top 5 in no specific order is something like this (I originally thought RFX's list was just movies pertaining to this thread:

After that it's stuff I'm interested in but not hyped for or expecting much

Edge of Tomorrow (I'd be cool with this being another Oblivion, plus Emily Blunt :evil:)

They're doing it that way cuz that was the new origin in the Ultimate universe not the main MU.

I agree though, I prefer alien origin.

It was, I tried to at least but I did include some comedies like 22 Jump Street just because it's like a cult classic I guess(?) but left out the dramas.




As for Venom, I think it's just a way for them to make it more streamlined and connected I guess, make Oscorp that one big threat a la Thanos in the Avengers. At least that's how I view it based on their decision.
 
hopefully, with oscorp being the source for all the bad guys it DOES NOT end up with a wolverine origins situation
 
Nah, this one is actually planned out up to the 4th film plus those side-stories for the villains.

For the most part, the Spiderman series have been good minus SM3. The reboot, though not exactly a fan favorite, was still very well received. It seems to be a good update to those who finds the Raimi versions cheesy these days?

just worried when it comes time for norman or harry osborn, they end up with pieces of all

I just think it'll be difficult to top or match Origins, it is that bad. :lol: I think you'd really have to try very, very hard to make a superhero film be worse than that.
 
IDK how to spell his name but Baron Von Strucker is being played by German Actor Thomas Kretschmann. Never even heard of him. After googling him, I dont recognize what role he played in any movie I have seen. But it is a multiple movie deal.

The movie blurb: A Nazi officer, working for terrorist organization, Hydra, who runs up against both Cpt America and Nick Fury.

- Big Eyes (Tim Burton movie w/ Christoph Waltz & Amy Adams)
- Fury (WW2 movie from David Ayer, writer of Training Day, End of Watch, original F&F, etc)

2014 is a great year for movies

I don't mean in terms of the quality of the movie.. I meant what they did with deadpool at the end
 
:x the new Maleficent trailer. Good lord that was terrible. I had decent hopes for this movie.



It's like they changed the tone completely. Now it will likely be as bad as the Days of Future Past.
 
:lol: @ looking forward to see Maleficent. That had trash written all over it from the get go. Story will be as good as Snow white and the Huntsman.

This is just another cash grab to bank off of cgi and other visual effects a la Avatar. I'm sure the whole idea of even making this movie was inspired by seeing how good the tv show Once Upon a Time is doing since it's able to have a secondary show with Wonderland.

They should just have Scott Snyder write these movies so they stand a chance.

Then get some hollywood writer to rewrite it to work as a movie script

Scott Snyder is pretty overrated at this point. Word to his Superman Unchained, The Wake, etc. He does a good Batman so far.
