News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

If singer is directing I'm not watching unless I hear great things..

None of those covers surprise me.. My expectations are THAT low for this movie

Won't be seeing transformers or tmnt either unless by some miracle I hear something great

Dawg that is one of the worst costumes eveeeeerrrr...Does Singer even know what year we on?...like son...you have all the resources possible...

Fox is such a joke when it comes to their comic book adaptations of characters and storylines.

Unfortunately, they won't release any of their Marvel properties in our lifetime.
It's possible when we're 90 that the Disney conglomerate becomes the Disney empire and just absorbs all of the Newscorp conglomerate, and thus attaining the rights to the X-Men.

I feel sorry for anyone who paid to watch Transformers :smh:

TMNT was always a bad idea. It'd be the same if they tried a live action Sonic movie.

TMNT had a live action movie, actually a couple  and they were not half bad, specially the way the turtles look, how could it be harder for them to make them better now!!?

You'd have to be ******ed to watch that ****
I'm willing to bet the live action turtles stuff from the 90s looks better than whatever Michael Bay cooks up.

As a kid I liked them. Don't remember much of TMNT (cartoons or live action).

I remember those and they were for children. If this next one is for children, w/e.

But billing it near the superhero genre would be a mistake. TMNT is Ghost Busters status. I got a feeling this new one will be around the quality of Street Fighter and the Super Mario movie.

The turtles did look okay though so this whole cgi thing they're doing better look realistic. If not they should've just did it animated from the jump.

OG TMNT was great and honestly, that costume and how their mouths moved isn't as outdated as it should be. The action too, the way those stunt dude moved in those costumes were great.

Feels extra cheesy now but in a good way I think.

The OG (part 1) is my youngest daughter's favorite movie next to Major Payne. I feel like we end up watching one or both of those movies every weekend and I have a serious collection for them. I have to make her watch other movies, because if it's up to her "Daddy, can I watch Ninja Turtles again?" And it's crazy, but the movie stood the test of time with its effects.

Animated movies are one of the few things DC does right but damn..... Justice League War was a snoozfest. It would have been better if they just ripped off the opening story arc of Justice League word for word, panel for panel. As long as they keep characters intact I usually enjoy the changes. :smh:

I love that TMNT2 opening scene. The first two TMNT flicks from the 90's were great. I didn't really like the third one where they travel through time and go to feudal Japan.

I was worried about those sentinel pics awhile back...but seeing as they are from 1973 this leaves some potential for some thing dope in the future :pimp:

Rumour: Josh Gad For The Fantastic Four’s Ben Grimm, The Thing
josh-gad-350x262.jpg

Hearing that Josh Gad is Fox’s number one choice for the role of Ben Grimm (aka the ever-lovin’, blue-eyed Thing) in the impending Josh Trank reboot of Fantastic Four is one of those “I never thought of that” bits of casting rumor that just feels right. There’s an innate sweetness to Gad that would shine through Grimm’s orange, rocky exterior in a drastically different way than forcing a bruiser to act sweet. Once you hear it, it’s easy to imagine him in the running as the studio’s top choice.

Well this F4 is gonna be very different.

Captain America 3 in the Works with Winter Soldier Directors Anthony and Joe Russo Returning
Strong test screenings have Marvel moving fast to attach the helming duo.
by Scott Collura JANUARY 28, 2014

Early word on Captain America: The Winter Soldier is strong, so much so in fact that reports are emerging that Marvel is moving to bring that film’s directing duo of Anthony and Joe Russo back for Captain America 3.

According to Variety, while Cap 3 has not been officially green lit -- and negotiations won’t actually begin until after Winter Soldier comes out in April -- “Marvel has been so impressed with the production of Winter Soldier, as well as with strong results from recent test screenings, that the studio has moved fast to attach the brothers to the next installment.”

This is the first we’re really hearing about a third Cap film, even though we’ve always assumed that the First Avenger would get a trilogy just like Tony Stark before him.

There’s no word yet on what the film will be called or what it will be about -- a writer and release date are still to be determined -- but the trade says that Marvel and the Russos are already putting together an outline. And besides, you just know Kevin Feige has the whole thing in his head already anyway!

Chris Evans still has several films to go on his Marvel contract, so we can assume he’ll be back… unless something crazy happens to Cap in Winter Soldier.

The Russos come from TV, where they’ve helmed a bunch of Community episodes among many other shows. They replaced Joe Johnston -- who directed the first Cap movie -- for Winter Soldier.

i notice anytime sony or fox puts out news on their films
marvel responds with something

isnt baron von strucker supposed to be in avengers 2?

and arent they introducing AIM too in one of these upcoming movies?

im still waiting on when the red skull shows back up
Hugo said he's not interested in the role of red skull, so if they do bring him back most likely a new actor. I guess it's not a huge problem since his face is just a red skull, but IMHO I thought Hugo killed it!
