They really needed to dig deeper to the Furyan race too, felt like we were still left hanging with the little detail they've given about the race. I think the DVD or Directors Cut of Chronicles dives deeper into it where Riddick started to have visions iirc. So much potential in the franchise.

Universal developing the next one means that it'll likely be more ambitious like Chronicles was. Have it on DVD but haven't opened it yet.

Yeah they dig deeper with that from what the creator had in mind. There was even a prequel type comic semi explaining Riddick getting stranded on the planet after he somehow lost the throne.

At this point (after Chronicles) is when Vin started contributing more to the story and now owns like half the rights to it.

Also this deleted scene was cool. Don't know why they took it out. This short scene added so much to the movie

He is signed for 2 more films but I dont think he is signed for any specific titles. Likely going to be Thor 3 and Avengers 2

As a fan of the series, I love it too. But I think the reason this third one did well was because he went back to his roots from the first movie. I clearly remember all the hate the second one was getting because Riddick was supposed to be a thriller but then went all out sci-fi action which upset the fans of the OG. Changing the tone in the sequel worked for Aliens, but didn't for Riddick. But whatever, I enjoy this franchise and am pretty pumped to see what he does next. Maybe have him face off against another Furyan, ala something out of Dragonball Z?

Only big 2 movies (regardless of who owns the rights) I look fwd to this year is Cap and Guardians

ASM 2 is gonna blow us away, just watch.

I didn't mention cap 2 and guardians because they're gonna be huge hits. Cap is gonna be amazing needless to say but I'm interested in seeing how guardians plays out. The comic-con trailer gave the movie a really sarcastic and comedic tone. The Thor 2 after credits confirmed that too.

I didnt see the Guardians trailer. Couldnt find it so I dont know what to expect but I don't think I have ever heard Zoe Saldana talk up a movie so much. I think Bradley Cooper is also excited for the role. It is not a movie that they just took for a paycheck.

ASM 2 is a movie that hollywood feeds to their audience because they think we are ******ed. Seriously. Rhino's armor looks like ****. Why? Because they wanted him to seem legitimate in the same universe where a giant lizard and a mechanical flying goblin exist. :x

Guardians is gonna be special, I can feel it. As for ASM2 I feel like what we know so far is just a front for what will really happen in the film. I don't think Gwen will die in this one but I think the set up for part 3 is gonna be epic. I mean the costume alone should tell you that they aren't here to disappoint the fans. And I would never bet against Jaime Foxx's acting
 
Fix what screenjunkies? Marvel slaughtering everything that walks? They are never getting their rights back because apparantly Marvel didnt think it was important to hire good lawyers when they made those deals. Only real point you have is how unmemorable the villains are but they have more than just Loki. I liked Obadiah and Red Skull.


Yeah I know Guardians will be an amazing movie. I certainly hope so because I am not going unless I hear good things about the movie.
