News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

So my friends and I have a debate on which is a better show

Agents of Shield or Arrow

I go with Arrow but many of them say Arrow grounds the power of actual characters

I've seen a handful of agent of shield episodes but I can't agree with them - At all.

Personally, I'd go with Arrow. I only got to the the third episode of SHIELD and just wasn't hooked. Arrow's my second favorite tv show behind GoT.

I've def became a fan of Arrow this year. If it was on a better network it'd be even better.

I've been wanting to watch that since I saw the trailer on amazon. Seems like Ewan gets to sex her up the whole movie.

Yeah, 77 Star Wars is between terrible and ok.

Doorknobs have better opinions than that. I really need to update my ignore files in the AM.

Please do. Then I don't have to see this trash.

Nah. Just one agent. Agent Carter. She was in the first Cap movie. It'll be set in the past, so post WW2.

 Yeah, Thor, Thor Dark World, IM2 & 3 might as well be Aladdin. I'll expect these same kind of piss poor opinions when Cap 2 and GoTG come out from you. Then something about your poor taste in Star Wars movies.

Like I said I'm not gonna waste my time arguing with your unreasonable blind bias. I'd rather just laugh at you. I mean if you knew what you were talking about you'd know Disney owns Touchstone but I'm sure you'll have some dumb post about how 25th Hour was "disneyfied"
I have no idea what any of this is suppose to mean here.

They also own ESPN. I didnt say that was disneyfied. Still doesnt negate my point. Keep laughing since it makes you feel better about being wrong. You don't waste your time yet you reply to every single post i make. Cool story. Maybe next time you will believe it.

Star Wars is a **** franchise. That's just that.

ESPN does not make movies. You bringing up ESPN is hilarious  since it's so irrelevant. Touchstone is a movie studio that makes movies. Marvel studios is a movie studio that makes movies. I know it'll take you awhile to tell the difference between Disney owning Touchstone and Marvel studios and owning ESPN.

Your point doesn't make any sense. I'm laughing at you cuz what you're saying and how you're trying to support it is stupid. I laugh at stupid things when I see them, especially when it doesn't make sense. I said I aint gonna waste my time and argue with you cuz you're bias. What I'm doing right now when I reply to you isn't arguing the nonsense you're spewing

You can say I'm wrong and cool story as many times as you want. Aint changing your poor taste or nonsensical opinions.

Yet another cool story and wrong opinion, brought to you by Master Zik. Opinions by definition can't be wrong yet yours somehow manages to be. So keep laughing.

Either way I know Disney is a conglomerate. I didnt say everything was disneyfied. Marvel Studios certainly is.

Its not nonsensical. Star Wars is trash. One of the worst cult phenomenons ever. Not much better than Napoleon Dynamite.

Star Trek, Terminator, Back to the Future, Avengers, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Godfather, The Dark Knight, etc. Almost every franchise/name with a cult following is exponentially better than that Star Wars trash. Few complaints with anything I just listed. Star Wars needs a remake way more than the films they are currently remaking. That hot garbage is worse than the trash DC puts out (movies and comics) outside the Nolanverse.

Saying cool story is lame man. You living in 2010. I know you're the expert on wrong opinions but considering I've been replying to you you'd have to see I'm simply trying to correct you.

Pitiful attempt. Try harder next reply.

This is what you call an unsubstantiated claim or simply a rather uninformed dumb opinion. You don't even know what is or isn't "disneyfied" to be certain about anything. It's not your fault that you don't understand movies.

All of this Star Wars hate can't phase me given your taste and what you consider "disneyfied". You might as well go on and on about how having sex is trash.

That's what I thought. Should've replied with gifs earlier. We both know it's your best way to communicate.

sunshineblotters sunshineblotters you don't like Star Wars?? I promise episode VII is most likely going to be the craziest thing we've ever witnessed on a big screen. Disney will pump twice as much money into that than A2

Nah. But I know Star Wars Episode VII will likely be the highest grossing film of all time.

I watched I and II but couldnt get through em. Everyone said watch the originals (I aint know IV, V , and VI came out before) but the deed had been done. For over a decade people tried to get me to watch it but I wasnt having that ****. It would have to be 150x better just for an okay review. Fast fwd to not so long ago and I watched the originals. I thought IV was slow as hell and boring, V was surprisingly good, VI was like the Matrix 3 of the series. Didn't take place in space and they introduced these characters that no one cares for but I ended up liking it better IV. You take out the podracing **** from the phantom menace and you have a slightly better movie. But I did appreciate the special effects of the first trilogy.

As for space exploration franchises (in all sorts of media) I don't think Star Wars is in my top 10. Definitely not top 5. I would easily rank Mass Effect, Star Trek, and Marvel Cosmic Universe as much better than Star Wars. those tree franchises are how to do space exploration. Mass Effect especially even though I didnt think the franchise was as good as everyone else seemed to.

Then they expanded the star wars movies with books, comics, and video games and there is so much inconsistency that after this movie Marvel plans to remove most of it from canon once they get their comic publishing rights back in 2015. Just goes to show how poorly planned out this universe is.

it sounds like you loved the movies honestly. This wasnt a bad review

No. Just episode V.

Back to the Future and Terminator both trump anything from that mid 70s to mid 80s time era, especially in sci fi (Not saying that I didnt love Terminator 2 as well as the back to the future series but those came out a little later). I would give the edge to Back to the Future if I had to choose one because it was a very well thought out movie. It even featured theories that had a lot of writings after the the reemergence of interest in Einsteins theories surrounding black holes (which lead to theories surrounding time travel). The whole going back in time and accidentally making your mother fall in love with you thing.... well there is a name for that paradox but I can't remember it. Also with the teaser of the events of back to the future III, you could tell it was a well thought out trilogy. The terminator on the other hand beat everyone's expectations so they just ran with it.

Anyway Nolan is taking that to the next level with Interstellar which is based on more recent scientific theories of black holes and possibly time travel based on research by Kip Thorne. Since then it has been theorized that time is only possible forward, not backward and that wormholes through space do not need to close after a short period of time. At least if they are man made. So I hope he does his research and takes himself more seriously than Spielberg did.

Arrow by far. Agents of SHIELD is honestly one of the worst shows on network television. Without the Marvel branding, it would have been canceled six episodes in.
