Does this movie have to get remade every 4 years :smh:



I may download it to see how how Scarlet and Quick are together. I aint watching the whole thing tho

The hell? The last American Godzilla was in 1998 and that wasn't even really Godzilla, it got Mandarinized.
 
American, non american. Don't really care. there are like 30 of these movies. Granted not many are remakes. They all ******* suck and this one looks like it will suck too.
 
Trailer actually looks good but this one is obviously bigger budget than the one that releases in Japan every so-so years that you likely do not even watch. Last one was actually 2004, 10 years ago and it isn't even shown here regularly. Really not sure what your beef with it is. :lol: You act like it is force fed to you on television every week that you are annoyed enough. I rarely even hear of Godzilla and I keep up with the Japaneses culture, anime, manga, etc...

The trailer looked good imo,the movie has a pretty great cast and the effects/music seem on point. Looking like a good summer popcorn flick.

I have watched a few. Can't remember which since they all suck so bad.
 
^Don't even start that ****. All the praise I have given the Marvel movies but no one remembers that. Other movies have been praised not sure if it is in this thread tho.

And was a gun held to your head as you watched it? I mean seriously, those films a cult classics, they aren't meant to be the greatest, just some fun movie to watch.

But damn, I keep falling for your traps. I mean seriously, you aren't forced to watch it and you are exaggerating as usual, remade every 4 years like it's always a big budget blockbuster attempts in the US market. You had to go out of your way to simply watch the OG films.

Its not obvious, it can easily be a mistake but someone who doesnt know anything and coming from you, its not far fetch.
 
Movies like godizilla are almost incapable of being good or bad. The movie is for visual effects, it's either you want to watch it or not lol
 
This Godzilla is gonna be different. Like I said in the other thread, this will be the first Godzilla movie to really go back to the original themes of the first where Godzilla was portrayed as an unstoppable force of nature that represented humanity's punishment for trying to play god with their science (Nuclear bomb in the 50s). If all goes well, this wont just be a mindless cgi monster movie and we'll get some things to chew on and think about.

This is the movie that Godzilla fans have been waiting for because all the other sequels basically turned Godzilla into a toy commercial/monster mash movie and lets not even talk about the 98 version which completely missed the point :lol:

Yet no one else seemed to have believed that the movie was remade literally every 4 years.

10 years? As if that is such a long time by movie standards
