News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

No doubt, the marvel villains have been meh. It's always all about the hero and the next movie and not about the plot and villain. Part of my dislike of the avengers is that the army of aliens was just thrown in. No back story, no reason, just because. It makes you just "not care".

As for the villains argument I thought Obadiah was very memorable. Casting the big lebowski for that role

Besides, that is how comics are. When you see ultron, malekith, almost every single spidey villain, etc you know the story aint going to be memorable.
Ultron BETTER be memorable!!

I disagree, villains like Venom and Sinister 6 are very interesting. Doc Ock, Green Goblin, etc... are all good villains that I wouldn't mind seeing some back story. Doc Ock in SM2 is one of the best movie villains ever created while Topher Venom was the worst. Nothing needs to be said about Ledgers Joker and even Nicholsons version too, both were great.

Loki is a favorite because he is a very good villain and Hiddleston nailed it. Obadiah was a good villain because he got a lot of screen time but they killed him off. I thought Mark Strong as Sinestro was very good too, just didn't have time to shine and was just in a terrible film that didn't capitalize on him.

Ultron is one of those villains that can keep coming back over and over again and they really need to make him simply bad-a**.

A good villain puts the film over the edge and make it much better, remove Loki from Thor 1 and half of the movie will be unwatchable.

A good villain can carry a movie better than the hero IMO. Heros can be pretty one sided and boring once you've seen why they've become one, that's why most sequels are trash. The Heros are already out of story to tell. A villain can be open to anything, the "X factor" so to speak

Good villain > good hero

Plenty feel that about TDK, Joker pretty much carried the film and Bats followed.

The problem is as good as Marvel have been, they really only have one memorable villain and that is Loki. You really didn't care much for Red Skull and they didn't even bother to give you a chance to give a damn about Malekith. Do I even have to say anything about Mandarin? They butchered the Extremis on the villain too. Whiplash was wasted too and Justin Hammer, who was somewhat likable and funny gets no screen time or cameo in IM3 and I do not see them having any plans for him in the future.

They really need more interesting villains or give them time to shine like Loki.
Hammer cameos in All Hail The King, if that counts

I agree but it is not something I go to a film expecting to see. Half the time they turn good villains into heroes anyway and it defeats the purpose. Both in these comic book flicks and in the comics.

I feel like they are utterly confused with what to do with Loki in the comics. He's a boy, he's a girl, he's an adult, he's a child, he is a teenager..... :smh:
Magneto is in so many sides he might kill himself
The **** where they trying to do with Mystique when Xavier made her part of his black ops team?

My dude told me it is "because no one wants to see themselves as the villain, except you [sunshineblotters]". I guess he has a point.

Magneto was somehow the good guy in First Class. Loki is an antihero (I am assuming in in ACU). Wouldn't be surprised if Faora Ul comes back in BvS as an anti-hero. :smh:

Also the reason I felt TDK kinda fell short. Once bane became just the pawn it was just all down hill from there. Talia (spelling) wasn't doing it for me at all

Yah they messed up Talia. Too bad she always seemed like a bad ***** to me. I may have gotten the wrong vibe tho since I don't care for DC

I for one don't really like what they've done with Loki. He's the god of mischief yet has only shown a couple abilities. Dude is supposed to be like an all powerful trickster.

I thought they did enough of him, Thor 1 is like his origins too. He was mischievous enough that it doesn't feel juvenile but he is also evil enough in a clever and fun way that at times you kind of want to side with him. I like what they've done with him. I was reluctant to see him Thor 2 because he was in Thor 1 and the main villain in Avengers but he really did surprise me and I liked his role in it. Him mocking Cap was brilliant and very Loki-eque. He was always been weaker than Thor though and his power usually came via magic or the staff or some weapon.

Isn't Loki one of the few with regenerative healing due to his magic. The other asguardians would just heal over the wound so they could lose some limbs. Though weaker I always thought he had the better power set. He does have standard asguardian power set which includes superhuman strenght even if it is nowhere near thors level.

It's too late. He ****** up and now he has to live with his decision. Though I haven't watched the movie I know it sucks.

I knew someone who actually watched the flick would come and back me up.

One of the writers hadnt done anything good since Minority Report. The other one botched up a remake of total recall. How does one botch up a remake? The material is already there. You literally have to copy it.

Ok first things first
The wolverine was too ******* long
When it was slow damn it was slow
But damn that red head Japanese girl was :pimp:
I swear wanna knock the stuffing outta her
It's something about Asians
Best "xmen" movie besides first class
Put it #2 right behind it
Light years ahead of the other wolverine movie and them xmen movies which ain't really sayin much
End credit was ok I guess
But man they need to get rid of that Ian dude as magneto
he look like he gonna drop dead any moment
Lets see if dofp catches that alley oop that the wolverine gave em
Liked him loosing his adamantium claws
They was dope for that
Would be even doper to see wolverine get his whole adamantium skeleton ripped out his body
That would look dope as hell on the big screen
It was solid
Glad I didn't pay though netflix ftw
Avengers still the goat marvel movie
