News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

People complained about Jamie Foxx as electro? Almost every single spidey villain is lame. They could use the change.

Also been meaning to ask since the first move but I thought Sin City was Las Vegas. Looks like NYC :nerd:

 No, Las Vegas' nickname is Sin City but has nothing to do with the comic or film.

The city in the comic/film is originally called Basin City and the "BA" slowly got erased, you can see it through the flashbacks in the first film too.

i like that they are following the stories in sin city almost exactly
i think this time people may get either lost
or it may click for people who seen the first one
when they put 2 and 2 together on certain things in the film

I slept on the first Sin City thinking it would be garbage like so many other movies based on comics were at the time.

I see
repped for that one

:smh: you can't compare Jaime Foxx's casting as Electro to MBJ's casting as Johnny Storm.
Why not?

Only difference is one is a villain and the other is a hero.

Ppl who hate race changes and racists still hated on both.

People need to stop acting like ppl give that much a **** about the Fantastic 4. They've suffered the most in comics, no surprise they would in the movies.

That's cuz Frank Miller created it, still owns some of the movie rights, and directed it.

Watchmen remains one of my favorite films of any genre. Glad it was made the way it was

I think of Watchmen the same way I do TDKR. So many great pieces and elements the came together, but a good amount that just can't get right. Like...Rorshach, The Comedian, Dr. Manhattan and Nite Owl are absolutely perfect. Which is crazy, cuz Rorschach and Doc are damn near impossible characters. The birth of Dr. Manhattan...Rorschah in prison...

But the way they approached the violence completely undercut the whole point of the book. Malin Akerman ruined every scene she was in and Matthew Goode was just about the worst choice for Ozymandias. Like the book was a murder mystery and they basically ruined the mystery in that one character. And then the music choices ran from absolute genius to "is this a joke?"

A really complicated movie to appreciate, but still parts of it were perfect.

Finally watched Man of Steel. I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. I loved the fact that they didn't really spend too much time developping his boy scoutness because that's the thing I hate the most about him. (yes I know, that's what he's supposed to be all about). The fact that he snapped Zods neck was nice. I'm sick of Supes/Batman giving the bad guys 45746745 passes just for them to break out of jai and slaughter people until they get arrested again. The epic scale of the action looked "realistic" and the fight scenes were dope. I have to say Amy Adams looked old, didnt care about her at all.
This is all IMO coming from someone who's not a huge fan of superman's character.

I wish Sanaa Lathan was Sue Storm :smokin

Then everything else would've worked out. But Johnny Storm is the most iconic out of the quad. You don't just slap an adoption origin on him :smh:

She would've been perfect, but Fox is absolutely ******ed. Only one of these film studios who give absolutely no ***** about these characters.

Electro doesnt have a white brother in this movie.

I'd be lessed pissed (but still pissed nonetheless) if they at least made the storm family black but black women still don't sell enough for fox.
 So the main complaint about making Johnny Storm black is that he has a white sister?

The Thing is by far the most iconic.

Anybody can be engulfed in flames.

As beautiful as she is, Sanaa's too old.

It aint about black women being a draw. It's just that jungle fever probably aint gonna rock for most of these racists.

That is not my main complaint. I have stated my main complaint about the trash that comes from Fox several times and about this movie in particular. But another reason you can't change the F4 is because they are iconic. Jamie Foxx character was scraping the bottom of the barrel.

If they did the movie right she would not be too old. Nobody gives a **** about ultimate fantastic 4. Doesn't ultimate torch wish he was a mutant so bad? Pretty much the marvel equivalent of those ****** kids.

Looks like Frank Miller had a decent role in the storyboard/scriptwriting. So I'll watch it. Also it takes place at the same time as the first movie, not a sequel, but since it is a different army i wouldn't expect any returning characters.

I don't care what you think about FOX.

I was talking about there not being much of a difference between a black Electro and a black Human Torch then you quoted me and basically said it's about there being a white sibling  e.g. the main complaint is there being a white sibling. So yea,

Also, they're doing a young F4, deal with it. Even if they weren't and doing the older one Sanaa Lathan would still be too old. She's in her 40s. In a reboot you don't start the movie with the main characters already got their powers 10 years later and got children. Smarten up.

The fact that you cant even name Jamie Foxx's character, and know MBJ's character is evidence enough

Electro or Shocker. Since I was a kid I'd confuse them

There's more than one human torch though. I could've been confusing them as well, they just got the same name.

lol. Thanks for the warning not to read your trash. Makes it easier that way
This coming from the person that quoted me whining about FOX again :smh:

Why would a founding member of the Avengers get killed off, let alone THE Tony Stark
Cuz RDJR is gonna be in his 60s if there's an Avengers 4 and instead of focusing on IM Marvel may want to shift focus to Dr. Strange as they move on.

Plus the IM movies haven't been that good anyway and as of now there's no plans for anymore IM movies.

Also there were rumors they were gonna kill off Stark.
