News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

If the Man in the shadows ends up being peter's father i'm going to laugh my *** off in the aisle
Drew Goddard, the director of Cabin in the Woods, is gonna direct the Sinister Six movie.

So that's a thing.
really don't know what they're doing with that film lol

Are they going to be fighting each other? If the common adversary is Spidey then what makes it not another installment in the franchise?

Will they go this route?

I mean not with the characters on the cover but with the feel of the book

Also Drew Goddard who is writing the DD pilot episode and is the executive producer of the show is also the scriptwriter and director for the SInister 6 movie. Marvel and Sony have pretty much made peace.

Come on, Avengers tower in the sky line of ASM2...

^I didnt even notice that. I know that Oscorp Tower was supposed to be in the Avengers skyline but they didn't render it in time.

I thought it was the other way around.

I'm just hoping the Tower appears. That would solidify that they have made peace in my mind

Really means nothing, if you look at Feiges IMDB page, he is executive producer of Amazing Spiderman and upcoming Fantastic Four films.

They have definitely made peace. I am pretty sure that renegotiation gave Sony the Spidey rights till the end of time (but we'll never know) so you better believe they are peaceful.

Sony just gave up their merchandising rights in exchange for Sony keeping more of the movie rights and likely profits. Disney knows the money is on the merchandising.

pretty much
expect spiderman the ride soon
i know they suppose to be building a marvel park at disneyland

I am not sure if Disney can have that, I think the park rides and attractions rights are sold to Universal. That's why they have countless Marvel rides at Universal Studios in Florida though none in California.

I think they can only have displays and attraction based on the films, I think they have the IronMan display at Disneyland right now.

Well they are adding the iron man one to the disney park in china or japan right?

That's obvious. How much movie rights and for how long is the real question. And it wouldnt surprise me if it were for forever

Also we studied the Marvel buyout in one of my acoounting courses back in college. When Disney was buying Marvel they couldn't acquire the park rides due to some legal technicality. Those belong to universal for forever.

My guess is the deal is the same, as long as Sony pumps out Spidey films then they get to keep it. They stop making them for 5+ years then Disney gets them back.

Feige is just listed as Executive Producer because he's the head of Marvel studios and the films are still technically Marvel films.. right?

He's been listed as that on every non MCU Marvel film since Hulk

I don't think he is listed as Executive Producers for 1st Class and DofP, he isn't Exec Prod for ASM2 either.

 Aint no such thing about making peace between these media conglomerates. Aint even about peace. It's about I don't want to share the profits if I don't have to.

Not saying a bit of a cross over happen but if it does I doubt it'll ever happen again word to DC and Marvel crossovers.
