Anyone know why Universal distributed Incredible Hulk and Not Marvel in 08? Same for Iron man. That one was distributed by someone else too

Because they needed someone to distribute the movies and distribution is different from production. So they partnered with Paramount at first (the exception being Universal for Incredible Hulk) and that deal lasted until Disney came along, who is now their distributor.

Universal actually owned IH and they still own Namor.

Paramount was just a distribution deal tho from what I recall since they had a lack of funds

Anyone know when AntMan begins filming? I'm assuming it'll be after Avengers 2?

Ant Man comes out like 10 weeks after AoU. Since all these movies are like 90% greenscreen I assume they have the same amount of post production time so I would assume late July to early August.

Also I don't know reputable these sources are but while trying to google the answer I have read on a couple places that it will be set in the 1960s, partially, for Hank Pym's part and Scott Lang inherits the title in present day.

I said that Ant-Man suit just looked old school (I mean leather?).

Looks like Trancendence is going to flop, another one for Depp.

Kind of crazy he is going on such a slump. I know most thinks he acts the same like as Sparrow, the Hatter, Barnabis, Tonto, etc... but dude is actually very talented and he looks like he isn't in his typical acting in this one.

The only review I have heard of that movie so far is like.... well I cant believe Nolan would attach his name to such a mediocre project if what I hear is true. Not like his other works at all. I'm pretty sure the studio behind the film knew it was going to flop too. Traditionally Jan-April is packed with movies that can't take the summer heat.

He is talented, but all his work post Pirates has been the same character in a different context. It might be time for him to rebuild his brand by doing more indie projects like many actors do when they want to change their image (most recently Matthew McConaughey). Even Pirates 4 was a let down financially (using that term loosely) since it made by far the least money in the franchise (tho I thought it was the best)

Watching Iron Man 3 now and this was worse than bad. It was flat out awful :x .

Marvel did no justice to Tony Stark after the first film.

We already saw the leaked sketch a while back. Here is the toy

old news tho. surprised it wasnt posted.

There is no way in hell that Batfleck will be wearing that. Say what you will about Snyder's direction, his decisions in regards to the visuals in his films and costume design has been on point.

I say those are fakes, looks like someone just customized a toy based on the leaked concept art. I just highly doubt they wouldn't change Supes costumes, that's millions of revenue out the window, that'll be like Ironman not having a new costume in every film.

Plus if those are real or there is even a small possibility that it is, then more news outlet would pick that news up. Even the comic book news that post the stupidest rumors haven't posted those.

And that logo on the pic looks PSed.

Yup, it's a custom action figure: https://www.figurerealm.com/viewcustomfigure.php?FID=55756

So recently Kevin Smith dropped hints that the new batsuit is like nothing we have ever seen before, and that its not black. One can only really assume its grey and maybe its not armoured, maybe its more material like captain America or something, but until we actually see it, this is the one I have on my shelf at the moment, and its mainly based off the art of Stephen B Scott which was released shortly after they announced Affleck as the new Bats.

Now this suit is obviously heavily influenced by the Nolan bats. I changed the lower torso portion of the design in particular because it was just far too similar to the Nolan Batsuit for my taste.

So until I see the real thing (and I will be checking everyday for the first image!) this is my bats. Please don't judge him as harshly as Affleck himself was judged haha

But, it's a "Superman" film.

I agree. His movies are always gorgeous and make great screenshots.

But the S is prominent and the bat is red. Also they should do themselves a favor and market it as a batman movie.

well, they were obviously going for the Dark Knight Returns Silloutte.

and they still did it wrong. TDKReturns batsymbol is still better and I am sure they could have combined the logos better. Looks like they got a work for free intern to spend a whopping 15 mins on it.
