Damn that's just sad and ignorant. Imagine if anyone of us got snitched on and they just picked up our stuff. That's why it's important to keep quiet of what you have to locals.

Yup. Ive decided to buy my next cpl guns privately thru bill of sale so theyre not in the national/state databases.

If it comes down to it you could report yours stolen obviously and hang onto them. That will never pass though.

I'm thinking about moving to Texas someday. Gonna save up some money and take a vacation out there some time this year.

Gonna see if I can shoot some Rifles while I'm out there.
Don't ever come here between June and August... weather is miserably hot, that's the only thing I hate about living here  but the guns make up for it

There is no database keeping tabs on all of our guns. Unless it's stolen or used to commit some type of crime they don't really know/care where your guns are. To find any info about gun purchases they would have to go to an FFL and pulling 4473s. The government only knows when a gun is exchanging hands when one of those forms is filled out and its for background check purposes, they only keep that info for 72 hours while FFLs have to hold onto the forms for 10 years I believe.

That AK looking nice @Ice Shattered

Same with the deagle

@HTownShoeFiend I appreciate it man, I got the OPAP back in September before all the panic about them drying up/being limited started hitting. Now you cant even find one for what they should be going for if you can even find one at all. :smh: Crazy because dudes were slandering Century Arms when the OPAP started popping up more then they got "limited" and people were buying them like crazy  The Deagle kind of fell in my lap and was too good of a deal to pass up on.

also,  what you guys think about  the s&w mp9?  I was going to get a glock  but someone told me to look into smith & wesson before i make the purchase.

Right now, literally all my handguns are M&P's in 9mm and .45.

To be honest, glock v. M&P is basically coke v. pepsi or ford v. chevy. They're both (generally speaking) reliable guns at a reasonable pricepoint with lots of aftermarket support. I think M&P's retail for a bit less than glocks, mag prices are about the same, sight/holster options the same.

The biggest difference is going to be in how you shoot it. A lot of people dislike the grip angle of the glock, not as many people complain about the M&P.

I had glocks in 9mm, then made some moves and decided on the M&P. I like the M&P's ergo's, ability to use holsters I already have for the .45's, and the trigger upgrades. I don't know much about glock aftermarket triggers, but The APEX kits are butter. A guy at the range let me shoot his FSS, Competition kitted trigger and it made me a believer.

They both have their pluses and minuses. Some M&P's come with horrible triggers, some earlier guns had accuracy issues, and some concern about a yr or 2 ago they dropped a newer updated sear housing block. The glock has a pretty decent trigger out of the box, but the sights are craptastic, made of plastic (m$p has steel sights) and some gen 3 and 4 guns will throw brass back into your face (google glock BTF) and I personally had some issues with my g19.

But really, close your eyes, pick one, and rock on. :D

Deagle :pimp:

Good **** NT brethren we need to have a NT gun meet n the desert haha i know ritchie would come. All dat free brass haha

I'd be in there like swimwear, with my 5 gallon bucket.....

You in PA or MD? MD is finally allowing CCW? Last I heard they were accepting applications but weren't really processing anything.

I dont believe the police arnt handing in their records or keeping detailed lists. Watching them go door to door in New Orleans taking peoples guns was disgusting. Only to then have their propeties looted and durther desicrated.

Im on the MD eastern shore now but still rockin a pennsylvania liscence for a bit longer. Shhhh haha

My guy at Larrys trading post keeps me informed. He says you can get em its jus a longggg painstaking process. Also said now that u need all this junk to purchase. Pa and delaware residents like myself who used to come down to the shore and ocasionaly impulse buy cant. He doesnt know if hell even be in buisness for much longer sales have tanked so bad. Hes a liscenced Beretta and Perazzi dealer so he makes almost all of his money on servicing those and the ocassional 30k shotgun sale to the rich trap shooting guys down here

definitely.

my friend recently copped an M&P compact in 9mm. I have a Springfield XDm 9mm compact.
shot both of them, love them both.

at the end of the day, I'm happy I went with the XDm but had I copped the M&P I still would have been nearly as satisfied. (would have saved a little scratch too)

Yup. Tomatoe vs. tomato

Springfield does give u alotta goodies tho. I jus prefer the ergos of the M&P for the big 3.

Do the newer produced Glocks still have the ejection problems?

When was this? thats ridiculous that people would willingly hand over their guns like that.

Yup bro. Private sales... Im alrdy on some radar obv but they WILL NOT get them all if they come for me haha alrdy made sure of that.

Life straw. 22. 22 rds. And some rations. Not one of those survivalist extremist but i have a small bag away from my home ret to go hah

[What's up my NT firearm brethren!! You guys collections and new additions are looking great...and even better y'all are posting targets and it's looking good.

About the Glock extraction issues I haven't myself experienced any problems with it on both my Gen 4 G26s (OK one I bought for my lady but I do all the maintenance on it). As a matter of fact my Glocks are so dam drama free that they are kind of boring  I kinda like tinkering a little. Is why I miss my 1911 and my FNP .45 TAC.

My dudes check this out...I've been consulting and helping people create builds for various firearm platforms through the years...I'm talking law enforcement guys and even my mentor who was one of the few African-American 18As (the commission officer lead of a 12 man special forces detachment). With that being said I'm thinking about starting the process of becoming a certified armorer. To get certified by most of the main companies will be a hefty investment and I may not recoup it any time soon but I'll enjoy it nonetheless. It's why I'm going into the oil biz after graduation so I can afford to do the things I want to. Heck maybe that will even parlay over into me being a Class III dealer./SIZE]

do it bro, my M&P 45c needs some TLC, somehow i managed to break it.

I figure I'll post a family pic, been a while:

http://s1074.photobucket.com/user/rickskicks/media/photo11_zps012de4d0.jpg.html

clockwise from bottom L - R; M&P 45c, M&P 45 with TLR-1s light and 14 round extended mag (nightstand gun), M&P9c, M&P 9 Pro, M&P9 FS, M&P 9 Pro C.O.R.E (comes with removeable plate for a red dot sight, ala FN 45 Tac)

Got dat moly.......

http://s1074.photobucket.com/user/rickskicks/media/photo24_zps8aa09e0e.jpg.html

Moly coated lead bullets. Figured I'll give these a shot, then maybe straight lead, then eventually in a few years started casting my own lead bullets. Even plated bullets are getting damn expensive for how much I shoot.

That Remington looks real good man, especially those walnut grips. With all the fancy stuff that comes on many 1911's nowadays, you forget that good old slab sides is pretty damn handsome without all the work.

Leave that thing just the way it is, it's pretty much perfect as is

And the Jesus piece ain't bad, either

Nice Jesus piece :smokin

Yeah 1911 weight basically compensates for the .45 kick. I was at the range Wednesday shooting my XSE and man I love it :smokin

1911's are so gorgeous...can see why they stand the test of time... So much more character than the Tupperware guns we've grown to like.
