The other day I shot through half inch steel with regular rounds. But yeah the hallow tips are beastly.

Just picked up a 6 inch GP 100 and im not a revolver lover but this gun will die with me . Straight tank build, I changed out the factory grips and ran about 250 rounds and its dead accurate. Finally got a chance to shoot a friends Super Red Hawk Alaskan in .44 mag :x beastly

Nice, I'm sure at some point I'll want a big *** revolver in the collection.

I think I've pretty much settled on a Springfield XD-S 9mm for my 2nd gun. I want something for daily carry, I live in FL, and I love the SA line in general so it seems like the logical choice. I'm tempted to look at the XDS in 45, cause the idea of being able to pocket a 45 is really fun to me 

 but with the 9 I get more rounds, cheaper ammo, less recoil, etc. 

So I'll save the 45 for the classic 1911 which I know I'll want to get down the line.

I also still really want a PPK because when I shot one I was shooting the best I've ever shot in my life. Literally the first 20 rounds were damn near perfect bulleyes. So I will own that gun at some point.

It's something about revolver's, man. S&W's are gorgeous, but the rugers look just plain mean and tough. I've been on a revolver trip lately, looking to get a S&W model 10, but if i were looking for a .357, a gp100 is on the short list (4" barrel tho)

Man, recently i've had a growing appreciation for revolvers. I kind of liked them from a distance but didnt really care to own one but the GP100 has that mean/classic aura about it. IMO the Smith has the better finish but the Ruger has that "it" factor to me. I've held both and only shot the Ruger but it just feels like a straight cannon.

Only ruger I have is a sp101 2". And now that I think about it the only smith I have left is that 686 performance center that I posted in here before. Still love that thing, such a badass revolver.

. I have a glock 30 sf. I love it. Imo its the perfect size for everyday carry with great stopping power.

I've only really shot a handful of revolvers... I didn't like them at first, but I was also a novice shooter so I want to give them another chance.
