NT's LEGAL Gun Thread UPDATE...First Youtube Firearm Review Page 61

I am shooting a S&W shield 9 mm.
The rear sight is appears visually to be set to the right as the "rear sight inert is hanging out slightly. so that seems wrong.

but i am also talking about (even when i get the rear sight in the middle) where do i put the target at with my aim. vids/tutorials like that.

Sub compacts are harder to shot for first timers. Too much recoil and the size fits smaller in hand. I would practice with a full size first or even a compact.

I had trouble getting anything on paper at first. My issue was trigger press. Smooth and straight back is the key. Nothing should be moving when you pull that trigger but your index finger. Also grab some snap caps and mix them into your magazine. If you notice the front of your firearm move when you hit a snap cap then your anticipating the bang.

fellas i got it p226 :smokin :smokin :smokin

peep my boy old man fisher in the back

Repped man nice pick up I've been craving a sig as of lately but I copped two aks so it'll be a minute before I get mine

Last time I went to the range with my Springfield XD, I was pulling everything down and to the left. I think it might be a grip issue, but I want to get it figured out next time I shoot.

Not sure if this is what you're referring to. Some pistols require a 6 o'clock hold because they print a little bit higher than the point of aim. Could very well be the opposite where you need to hold a little high, but that is not very common. Only time you should need to aim higher is when you're shooting at really far distances.

And like BR0 MONTANA BR0 MONTANA said, it's harder to shoot a compact or subcompact pistol accurately at distances greater than 25 yards (give or take). A shorter barrel typically translates to decreased accuracy.

I really appreciate this. This is what I am talking about. thanks. Not sure. will try to search this online for my gun, but also just try to see the differences in my aim in person.

Went to the gun range today to blow off some steam

Left shortly after cuz my hands were freezing

Used the barrel to warm up walking back Inside
Indoor ranges >>>
I was doing some trap shooting .

:pimp: I barely even touch my other guns these days. Shotgun game is serious after two years of clays.
You ever been to a competition ?
I have to practice my aim

Didn't hit as many as I did the first time but I'll charge that to the weather

Nah. I wish I had the time. I just go to my friends farm and shoot against them. None of us miss, they are all beasts too.

Keep both eyes open. Try and get your shot off asap, know when to trail and when to lead. Once you know that you can wait forever and still smoke it just to stunt on your friends.

Recoil on target loads is weak. Throw some slugs in there and give it a try.

I grabbed my boys shotgun with goose loads in and it had some kick.

Scores in N.C. are legally 'innocent,' yet still imprisoned

Terrell McCullum did not commit a federal crime by carrying a shotgun and a rifle out of his ex-girlfriend's house.

But he is serving a federal prison sentence for it. And the fact that everyone — including the U.S.Justice Department— agrees that he is legally innocent might not be enough to set him free.

A USA TODAY investigation, based on court records and interviews with government officials and attorneys, found more than 60 men who went to prison for violating federal gun possession laws, even though courts have since determined that it was not a federal crime for them to have a gun.
Many of them don't even know they're innocent.
The legal issues underlying their situation are complicated, and are unique to North Carolina. But the bottom line is that each of them went to prison for breaking a law that makes it a federal crime for convicted felons to possess a gun. The problem is that none of them had criminal records serious enough to make them felons under federal law.

#DOJ said it would tack 50 years onto a "legally innocent" prisoner's sentence if he challenged his conviction.

Anybody have a gun trust? Thinking about getting one now in prep for getting a few SBSs

Used nfalawyer for my trust a few weeks ago. Building a noveske sbr, and thinking of selling some yeezys for a silencerco omega but idk

I read a forum where 90% of the people with cans still wear hearing protection. Now I'm not seeing the benefit as much
