NT's LEGAL Gun Thread UPDATE...First Youtube Firearm Review Page 61

Not true bro. Me and my bro were just in the woods hunting the other day and he tried out his new suppressor on his 300 black. He was running some subsonic rounds by g2 research and it was quiet as a whistle! No joke, the only thing you could hear was the bolt moving and the faint whine of the buck as it hit the ground. I just ordered a can for my 12 gauge too. Hopefully it's just as quiet.

What length barrel and suppressor model?

Well yeah. But isn't that round meant to be suppressed?

It's not like trying to silence 7.62x39 or 223.

Yep. That and perform well in a short barrel

Does anybody know if there's a market for replica/blank firing firearms? I've had a blank firing desert eagle in my closet for like 12-14 years. Totally forgot about it. It has no info about a maker on it. It fires 8mm blanks. I test fired a couple when it was given to me and then it never seen the light of day again lol

If so, where would I go to sell it?

Looks and feels "real" lol. Kind of. It's heavy lol.

Finally rented the 17s :x :pimp: . Im trying my hardest not to start hunting for one.

thats a 30mm shell on the left if you were wonderin

Fine decision sir. Fire

As far as the salvo and 300 whisper/blkout. The 300 was designeddd to be subsonic. Its still not silenced 22 quiet and the energy levels are abysmal for a rifle cartridge. It has roughly the same poundage as a hot .45 acp

Truth. But honestly, why does everyone try to silence .223?? If you're shooting Subsonic .223, you might as well just go with .22LR.

wait, I just realized what you said and you sir are delusional if you believe the 300 black has "abysmal" power. First, you can't compare a pistol round to a rifle round. Example, if I was hog hunting and I had a .45acp and my .300 black on me, if the target wasn't literally charging at me, I'm using the 300, every time. The .45 is good for immediate stopping power exclusively. I've taken down at least 10 bucks this season from 100+ yards out and have not salvaged one bullet. A .45 would never punch right through. From distance, the 300 is superior in every category. And it's hitting almost twice as hard as a .45 round

False.

A subsonic 300 is hittin at about 480 lbs

Vs about 460 out of a hot 45.

Theres really not a ton of difference. With the right 45 cartridge you could acheive veryyyyy similar results

Edit: i guess if your reaching out over 100 yds the difference is magnified but again theres not a real purpose for that round in a silenced application even though it was designed for it hah

Kinda like a revolver that shoots 410. In theory its ideal but then you realize theres way cheaper ways to go about that same business

Oklahoma is about to officially become an open carry state, or at least the bill is going up now. I already feel like everybody here has one, especially anybody in a pickup truck, just scares me even more making it legal now.
:nerd: how did that go?

My Sig P229 Elite, and my Kimber Crimson Carry Pro II with Crimson Trace laser grips. Green laser/white light on the Sig. Still like my 4th Gen Glock 26 over both and it's not even close.

Glock over sig?......sorry man i just cant agree with that

Loved my Sig, felt awesome in my hand and was accurate af. Loved my Kimber as well, especially after getting new mags. Both are awesome pieces of precision built machinery with tight tolerances, are aesthetically pleasing, and have great reputations. I've also owned the equally amazing FNP 45 Tactical which shares some of those traits.

However with that being said my Gen 4 Glock 26 is the only pistol I'll never part with. The simple effective and dependable aspect of it more than makes up for what it lacks in comparison to the other pistols I mentioned previously. Specifically for the Gen 4 26 the accuracy for such a small pistol is astounding...and I have 10.5 inch hands and don't use the grip extension for it.

I am a money no object type of guy when it comes to firearms for the most part, well I used to be, so I've dropped over $6k at a time on firearm packages. Then I had a change of philosophy and started looking at them more as tools...and in my personal opinion there is no better tool than a Glock. Funny because I used to despise them greatly...until I own done. And shooting a buddies Glock or renting one doesn't have the same effect as owning one. It's the reason why I haven't been in here posting much lately, Messing with Glock I've become boring and practical firearm wise

to each his own i guess.......maybe one day I'll convert to glocks but like you, the pistol i'll never let go is my Sig p226......accurate af, barely any recoil, looks beautiful and it just screams combat pistol

That is one of the great things about guns- get what you like.

Someone else may like something else, but that really doesn't matter when it comes to you

Found a cz scorpion evo in stock and bought it instantly. I'll definitely sbr it, possibly suppress it too.. Sort of an impulse buy, but I work hard so why not?

Anyone have time handling one? I haven't even seen one in person yet lol.

Finally got to put some rounds through the Black Rain and the Kimber Custom II.

Had to go to the indoor range and they wouldn't let me fire the AR the first time. They had a new rule for optics. I was honest and said it was brand new and I was going to sight it while there... They said a guy came in the week before with an AR that had NO sights at all and he shot up their rail system and took out a camera!!!!

They offer bore sighting, but nobody was there to do it.

But I finally got it sighted and I love it. For being new, I was getting some good groups from 25 yards with just a red dot.. (My first AR!)

The Kimber is a very nice pistol. I'll definitely be buying another ..

A buddy of mine brought a Sig 357 that he had never fired and a Sig 45. He liked the Kimber better and his old lady even asked him afterwards why he didn't have one of those lol

Oh and I got the wife addicted... She had never even held a gun before we went and now she wants to go every other day lol
