What's with these ridiculous prices on Lebron Shoes? Can't a man just get LJ II's in Blue and Black

I haven't bought shoes in a long time so I'm out of the loom, but I can't believe the prices on the II's and III's already.  I just want another pair of II's in both colors.  Look's like I have to wait for dude to retire and get the retros.  Do people still pay insane prices for shoes?

The prices for some of Lebrons more recent sigs are crazy. Like a pair of Dunkman 7s go for $250-$300. What will be the price on these 5 years from now? Some DS OG Jordans go for less than that.
 
What on earth are you guys talking about? LBJ 2s can be had for $130 or less brand new, which is less than retail + tax. Dunkman 7s are going for $160-$180, equal to retail + tax. The only Lebrons going for huge prices are the limited ones. GR's can all be had at or below retail.
 
Just keep looking (eBay). I sold my DS III's sz11 white/gold (West Coast) cw for $100. Surprised it took awhile. And I just seen a DS pair of II's size 10 og cw go for $100 free shipping. For old releases, eBay is your best friend. Patience is a virtue...
 
LBJ 2s go for under retail. I sold DS black/red/white and ASG LBJ IIs on NT for under $130 shipped each (this was over a year ago though).
 
those aren't ridiculous. You should take a look at the flamboyant and ridiculous priced Fruity Pebbles
 
^For now, very underrated. A lot of "kids" nowadays caught up in the Jordan "Hypebeast" game...

Well i mean personally I think the downfall is that all of those exclusive colorways are extremely limited and the ones that release to the public as GRs are trash. Well not trash but definitely nothing too impressive, and I own at least 2 pairs of every lebron shoe. They just arent for everybody either if theyre going to be used as actual bball shoes since a lot of them feel like boots. I love the IIs and VIIs though.

But back on topic, I wish the prices were ridiculous just so I could unload my ASG IIs that are .5 too big for a decent price but im not gonna let them go for under retail. I got a 2nd pair of black/white/red IIs a couple weeks ago for $160 shipped so Id say just keep looking til you find a decent price

Back to the topic. What price were you looking to get them for?
 
Underrated from a design standpoint but the entire LeBron line was too much, too soon.

DS LeBron 2s sell for under retail...I sold all three GR colorways (blk/red, wht/blu, ASG) for $110-125 shipped a piece around a year ago on NT.

And Dunkman 7s don't sell for $250-300. Even at slightly above retail ($175-185), they sat on shelves, and can be had for under $200.
