does suede spray from footlocker mess up you jordans ? i have aqua 8's and v red 6;s ect...
let me know because i dont want to ruin them and sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

From personal experience i'd have to say no, i used it on my elite ii's and also my cdp xvii's and both held up well. just make sure you don't leave the can where sun can get it or near your shoes because the cans explode when almost empty (

It shouldn't. Wait I don't know about the ice on the 6s though. I'm not sure of the best way to clean it though.

but to answer your question from my personal experience, then NO. i have used them for a loooooooong time and no problem. just don't over do it.

You should treat them before the first wear and hit them again every other month or so after thoroughly cleaning them.

my boy sprayed it on his all red V's and now the suede is darker red in some spots then otheres, it looks soo stupid.

The raging bulls pack I presume.
I sprayed mine and I don't have the same problem.
Must be the way he sprayed them or something.

When you treat them, make you sure you use a light even coat. You don't want to use heavy coats because suede/anti-stain/water repellant tend to leave spots when it dries.

^^^yup. If you guys didnt know, waterproofer makes it look darker. Works best with black especially if faded. Thats why you dont over do it. Like UltraPromoman said, even thin coats only.

I got the suede brush from Foot Locker and I haven't had any problems on the VR VI's...It beats using any kind of spray on the suede if you don't want to

All suede is not ment to be cleaned with that cleaner.... My Black 22's faded terribly and I watched the dye come out. SMH...

when i used the suede protector for my vr6's, it left what looked like water stains on 'em. not really noticeable unless you look at them closely. good thing i got two pairs so i just turned them into beaters. but i would definitely keep that protector spray away from my suede jays in the future.

the suede cleaner is a no no...i would suggest you use waterproofer/protector before your first wear and then clean with suede brush and eraser only!!!

i use soap and water but before that i get some clear tape and run it across the whole shoe to get lent and dust off my varsity VIs

I used the suede protector from footlocker on my black/blue 18's since they came out and to me it seems like it helps. Use even coats sprayed from about a foot away, don't get too close. I also use it on my CDP 17's and my citrus 7's. It doesn't work too well on those, but the quality is a lot worse on those anyway. but IMO, u can't go wrong using this to keep ur kicks looking clean.

i used the sneaker protector and got a white residue all over my jordans, this happen for anyone else wasnt expecting it cuz it was leather. does it go away?
