CUSTOM SILVER ANNIVERSARY 11's

yes it will. it'll turn the soles a deeper red if they are turning orange from age.

I have always thought of my 2001 Columbias as a filler until the OG version was released. Now I can have 2001 quality with tinted soles. Today is a good day.

Really great job man! This would give me a reason to go out and by a pair of the anniversarys without having to worry too much about complete yellowing/sea glowing

Excellent work @sthebest!!! ... Might attempt on both of my SJ's. Now you say seaglow prior, if yellowing is excessive but what if its just slightly yellowed? Would you still recommend seaglowing or can I go directly into the process of what you've already described?

I would suggest still seaglowing to get the soles as clear as possible. the less yellow you have, the better the blue will look in color.

it looks good but i wont touch any of my 11's, before you buy 11's you know there going to yellow down the line so its expected, i question long term what will happen with that dye imagine that blue tint wearing down and now you have a blueish, greenish and yellowish hot mess no thanks

It looks really cool now, but I would be interested to see the long term effect and if the blue tint would survive.

I want to try this with my retro colombia's, but I'm afraid I might ruin them. They are still in great shape, but I want them to look like the OG's

Wow! As everyone said before me, the blue soles look amazing! Thank you! Now I hope if I try it I won't mess up my shoes. Can't wait for the video.

It wont look like a hot mess if you dont wear them everyday and beat them into submission. Before you get to that point, all you would have to do is seaglow the soles to get them back to their original blue.

i remember seeing your pics in the restoration thread. they honestly looked bad. these new pics look much better tho. maybe its because you were still in the process of dying?
i would suggest you take some nice, detailed pics for the masses and put them in the sneakershowcase section. would make a ton of people happy. definitely great work.

my personal opinion of your work:
1. anniv 11s are solid. a little too blue for me but definitely a good look.
2. space jams... not for me. reminds me of fakes. not ur fault tho. quality on them isnt that far off from fakes these days so the sole + jb quality = fake looking kicks. (controversial statement i know)
3. concords are

thanks for the feedback, BigJ. The first pics I took were when I first dyed them. After I got negative feedback, I realized I used too much blue. That was actually a mistake because I had to leave out for work and let them sit with the blue dye on the soles. The end process was the dark blue you guys saw. In addition to that, my old Coolpix camera wasnt that great when no flash was being used. So I stripped alot of the blue off and seaglowed some of the yellow out, leaving the soles looking closer to the OG Concords.
