No you do not need a VIP card. Atleast for in store purchases. Employees don't care.

It's actually not a Friends and Family sale like everyone is saying. It's a special 30% insider sale for VIP Platinum members. At least to my knowledge.
It will work for regular VIP card carriers as well, but at most locations, you must present your card at time of purchase. I've always have because they ask.

I just came back from Footlocker. DEpast is correct. You just have to either sign up for a VIP card or just use what you already have. Then you have to print it out and bring it in. I asked if they have those handout coupons but they do not. Print out only. As far as exclusions, someone in this thread posted it. Only thing I heard was 5/22 release and reetones were excluded. Hope that helps.

Also, can an employee use their 30% employee discount and then use the F%F 30% discount on top of it?

So does the VIP # on the coupon have to match the VIP card? I always received the f&f coupon thru email except this time so I called FTL customer service and they told me the card that I have for at least 5 years isn't even active. That's why I didn't receive any coupons. I don't even printout coupons, I just walkin and show my card and they'll give me the handout coupons. I have to signup for a new VIP card. Hopefully I won't have any problem tomorrow!

Same with me...except it's FTA. The employees over at my local shop never entered my name/email address into the system. So i've spent money there and giving them my star club card for nothing. I never got those coupons for spending money

Does the Footlocker VIP card (and it's respective coupon) work at Footaction and Champs? Or do you have to sign up for the Footaction "Star Club" and Champs VIP and use their store specific coupons at their respective locations?
I have a Footlocker VIP card so would I be able to walk into FA or Champs and use it there? I'm asking since I basically only want to use it for the del sols but they are only at FA's around me and not at FL yet.

From my understanding it doesn't work on HoH exclusives. That's what an employee told me the last time i went...but you should get a second opinion on that.
