Official Air Jordan XV Retro Post!

My worst nightmare jus came true when orderin online. UPS says they delivered my shoes but they never came here my girl was at the crib waitin allday saidnoone came. The driver said he dropped them at the front door i think its bs. This would have completed my 1-22 collection. UPS is trash.
 
finally got mine in today, I am pretty disapointed that the leather is already creased on the side and a lot of glue spots, but on the other hand this is veryhot shoe, over all I am very pleased with these shoes. will be the last purchase of the year besides the black/red 8s

man. i ordered these november7th. i expected to receive before the launch date. i just found out my order thru a website on our "legit site list"

Received mine two pairs today..i love 'em..a very light basketball shoe..but kind of hard to fit your foot into..i wanna hoop in these..has anyone hoopedin these yet?
 
got my 2 pair yesterday. one of them is in perfect condition and the other one has alil glue problem.I'm returning the one with the lil glue problem.

Got my pair today and they are clean. No glue spots nor is there any creasing.

Plus the fact that the 20% promo code worked I am very happy with these.
 
Other differences I've noticed between the og & retro:

-Og's had a slightly higher cut.

- The tongue & inner sleeve on the retro is quite thicker than the OG's. Plus the tongue on the OG's is sharper & sticks out longer and morestraight forward while the tongue on the retro sticks upward slightly and is shorter.

- The leather seems more synthetic on the retro compared to the OG's. Like you could accually put shoe polish on the OGs, that's how high-grade leatherit had. The retros' leather is more butter soft, so to speak.

- Not really sure how to explain this one, but the kevlar/woven material on the retros isn't as high as on the OGs. They seemed to have used less material.When you would tie the og laces tight, the woven sections would connect seemlessly together. On the retros there's a more of a gap when tied tight. All myheads who used to rock the OGs untied will definitely notice this. I guess it is for the better because the extra woven material on the ogs would tend tocrease/indent quicker and easier & I don't see this happening with the retros since there is less material to crease.

- The OGs came with a cardboard divider in the shoebox that helped to keep the tongues straight while the shoes are stored in they're boxes.

- Though still possessing a high arch, the retros seem to be cut slightly wider in the arch section of the shoe compared to the OG's. This makes them morecomfortable right out the box.


All in all, this is one of the better Jordan retros they have done, sans the gold lace tips (who's !*%*$!* idea was that??). All the modifications madeseem to be for the better and is appreciated. But the OG's are the superior shoe as most are.

That being said, these will be the only colorway I'll be buying in the retros. I'll still be on the hunt for another ds og pair & the other TB OGs.& the OG Perdue University PE's >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Laser XV. I still kick myself in the head for passing on apair 2 years ago.
 
DAMN! I hope mine come sans all the creasing. Goodness! Usually I don't mind it much, but from these pics, I'm nervous. That's RE-DIC-A-LOUS!Anyway, thanks for the invites Folks. Mine should arrive Friday.
