Don't think this release is the equivalent off the QS XX, local shop that got the QS XX(and gets everything but LS releases) is not getting these...also a local Finishline line got 20 pairs when they usually get 50+ of almost everything. They got 36+ packs of the DMP and only 20 pairs of these. They seem more limited then people are thinking. Don't understand JB. I have been buying AJ since the original AJ 1(man I am showing my age) and these are actually the 1st non retro Jordan I wanted to buy since the XIV and JB wants to make it hard for people to get these. I just don't understand. Seems like they are just pissing the true Jordan loyalist off....

Thanks for the info, I still haven't called my stores yet but the only reason I mentioned the XX is that one of our 'insiders' made that analogysomewhere in the summary post. Now we know it's gotta be more limited. I fell for you that these first two XX3 colors are classics in the making yetdifficult to obtain. It's all marketing. JB is mixing in a ton of limited XX3 color schemes with GRs to the point that the public gets confused and beastsover all of them. They wanted to avoid having this shoe sit on shelves like the XX1 and XX2 and this was the perfect way.
 
By the way is it just me or is the MJ stitching from the promotional pics much thicker versus the actual release version? I love the thinner, more subtlestitching.

black 5's my 1st jays back in 1st grade/ cant nobody tell me nothin/ dopest shoe ever introduced, bout 2 get in2 sumthin/ 70's and '05 green suede'didas bean halfshells/ GOAT nike, tie; lions Franchise and Air 1's mids must die/ top jay be black wrapped w/ cement stripes.
 
Man I can't wait til Saturday morning...Finally saw them in person this weekend and although I think the tongue is just plain weird, I can't wait towear these.....

really like these but theyre just not my style, and since i wear everything i buy going to have to pass on them. but they sure get me jacked up for theblack/stealth release.

they sure are in love with the pos re-sellers, though, and i for one will never figure that one out. reward the slime and alienate the real customers thathave been wearing their product for twenty years.

I called my spot and said they would be getting them and might have a midnight release if not they will open at 8:30 so I'll be there about 3:30 am.
 
Man I go to FA damn near everyday, and the same Urkle-lookin' dude keeps tellin me that they haven't received these yet. I just wanna' see 'em!They most likely won't get them. These are probably more limited than LS shoes, smh.

Jordan Brand's like a circus right now. In my childhood, Jordans used to be plentiful in almost all part of the country. I don't recall any"limited" Air Jordan models at that time. I can't believe the quantity on these is that low. Pathetic being that these aren't evenretro's. I guess Humphrey figures we got em on the Titaniums, we'll make this one a little bit easier....but not much.

Anyone get a confirmation if any 757 area NEX will carry these? So far, looks like I will be getting up early and paying retail. Much nicer in person, the MJruined it for me until I saw them. Only a few stores by me are getting them, so I will be up mad early to secure a pair.

Sidebar: Some dude was in fl complaining about the black/red/stealths. He wanted to know who Jordan got to design these and that people would only buy thembecause they are Jordans. Had to laugh a little. To me, they are a dope shoe period. I think people forget that much of the appeal of Jordans past were theuniqueness of them. These def have that appeal.

I used to be stationed down there as recent as a few months ago. I'm out now, but I keep contacts with my boys down in the 757. My one dude goesto the Norfolk NEX alot, and was told they won't be gettin any so he's goin to Military Circle to cop. That's what I used to do anyway..but...Ihope that helps.
 
Anyone have any info. regarding the last minute change to use pearlized patten leather on the toe? I thought for the longest time it was going to be fullgrain. These are also oddly limited for being a general flagship Jordan release, I suggest to many if you can get a pair held or reserved you do it asap. Ohyeah and the tax isn't pretty on these, making them a whopping $200.

They must not be receiving them then because we have had them in stock since last week with the stealths on the way already. We usually receive 200pairs of Jordans for release day but will we only received 30 pairs of these in mens and 12 in gradeschool.

I'll be receivng my pair as a present for my birthday .
 
I must say that the "All-Star" is the best looking Jordan since the XX. If you are able please do not pass on them.
 
how is NTLA handling this? just like a reg release? also if i get to NTLA around 3:30PM on sat do u think theyll still have a 10.5/10?
