This was my favorite show but Dexter has competition with Spartacus for best show.

Really looking forward to the new season and I'm anxious to see how they build of Rita's death.

And I agree with them not have a major villain this season, John Litgow was superb as the Trinity Killer and I don't they could make a character anymore close to compelling as the Trinity Killer was.
 
Agreed on it's too early for this thread, but I can't wait after last season's finale.

I really wish they didn't kill off Lila.  She would've been good in this upcoming season now that Rita is gone.

R.I.P. to Miguel Prado as well.  One of my favorite tv show villains.  That rooftop scene was epic, I quote it all the time.
 
Last season was just amazing. I need to go back and rewatch this series, definitely my favorite (and most consistent) out right now.

I don't see how they can top last season though.. Trinity killer was just way too good..

Definitely gonna be hard to top last season.

Also I agree that they need to deviate from Dexter vs. Serial Killer angle. At least switch it up for one season. Perhaps they could introduce a new villain in the finale or toward the end of the season.
 
I like the idea of Dexter VS himself and the trials and tribulations of raising kids and no Rita. That should be way more than enough for Dexter to handle content wise.
 
i been thinking about season 4 alot.. The miami PD is going to raise alot of questions on Ritas death seeing as how it is 100% a Trinity style murder.. Then they will most likely question Dexter on his ties/connection to the Trinity killer..
 
Can't wait! Season 4's ending was craaaazy, I wasn't expecting Rita to be killed off. Dexter & Weeds.. the only reason I have Showtime.
 
 i seen the preview of season 5 on Showtime before I was able to watch the season 4 DVD.
this show is soooo good, that i found out about rita dying before i even started it, and was still shocked at the ending
