Wearing a Blazer Hoody YaY or NAY?

So a month ago I bought a Volcom blazer hoody where the hoody was sewn in the hoody but I had to return because the one I bought was too big n there was noother size to exchange it for. The one thing I notice about it that it wasn't going to keep me very warm also the material of the blazer was also almost"cardboardish". So I was wondering do anybody on NT knows any other places online that have blazer hoodies where the hoody is sewn in or is it betterfor me to just buy a separate blazer and hoody? Or should I just drop the hoody and just rock the blazer? I need to know a way to wear the blazer and also keepwarm

The only time i've actually seen this combo worn was in movies like the bourne identity/supremacy/ultimatum where the guy trailing Jason was always wearingthat

wear a car coat over your blazer and a wool ski cap
 
i never understood the logic of that blazer hoody
either wear a hat with a blazer or hoody don't combine both
and yes only douche bags wear those
 
This new trend is horrid. I was in blockbuster the other night and saw 2 dudes with these on except they were pinstripe

Dudes were wearing their "stunna" shades indoors and thought they had it poppin'. My g/f and I just shook our heads

That's an even worst look, one trend I hate Usher for starting. It's a horrible look, it beats the purpose of the blazer, but thats me.
