I base disses simply on what I feel is poignant... Drake is going for catchy songs and flash... Kendrick is talking to this man directly almost like a big bro talking to his lil bro. Same way pusha did. Kendrick is speaking to Aubrey, the racially confused biracial kid with insecurities about his identity and Drake is trying to Meek Mill Kenny. Drake fans, please connect with the fact that this boy is not battling another rapper. He’s being slaughtered by a Pulitzer Prize winner. An artist. Kendrick is not a dude covering up insecurities with fame and opioids. This is a man who has healed and is comfortable with himself. The fact that he drops a track 6 minutes after Drake’s “bomb” tells you he’s on another level.
