In one post you're saying it's a non-issue because all the rappers are doing it. In the next post you're saying it's not even true lol. Somehow you've determined all these other guys are using ghostwriters based on absolutely nothing, and in the next breath are denying the mountains of evidence that drake has been using them his whole career. The part I said wasn't true. Is "drake will never be considered an a time rapper" this just obviously isn't true.
Many younger people clearly consider him as an all time great rapper. And ultimately their opinions will.carry the day.
No one is going to be writing a book about rap and hip hop music critism and omit drake. That would be idiotic.

Quinten Miller himself recounted the when Drake beef, he said Meek wanted to work with him and that's how the beef started.

The guy who started these ghostwriting accusations was mad that he didn't have access to.drakes ghostwriter.

Yup, it was obvious Yachty collaborated heavy on some of those songs, and the history books will consider Drake and all time great rapper.

Man the ghost writing thing never bothered me as much as it did a lot of other fans. All this **** is entertainment at the end of the day. All I care bout is the finished product. If its hot and I like, then I like it. Im not gonna stop listening to a dope song just cuz it was written by someone else. Funnily enough a lot of my fav songs of his happen to be the ones he got assistance on lol

The denying/lying about having writers is what rubbed me the wrong way. To lie about it, you must know there is a negative connotation with having ghost writers, because if there wasnt you would just embrace it. Saying you dont use writers, or you only get help on flows or a few bars, just for full blown reference tracks to come out just make you look funny in the light. Which leads to my next issue: EYE cant consider you the best if you using writers. That dont mean Im deleting your discography and never listening to your tracks. Drake is one of my favorite artists ever. Been to shows, got all his music, but definitely cant say he is the best rapper when he uses writers. And again, using writers aint a bad thing! Just own it.

i was a big 50 fan, and im old enough to remember where being a correctional officer and lying about being a drug kingpin would have spelled the end of your rap career.

but because hiphop is no longer a sub culture those rules just don't matter anymore.


Mafia Music and Deeper than Rap were just too good to be denied.

i could sit here and huff and puff about how Rick Ross shouldn't be considered an all time great.
but the reality is, those rules don't matter and Rick Ross is an all time great rapper.
