🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

There's exceptions to every rule but let's be real and play majorities. Its majority of what at drake shows? Its majority of what a meek shows? Like I've stated in other threads every drug dealer, local rapper, credit card fraud dudes got a dream chasers styled chain in my city. I literally can go on IG screenshot at least 10 and that's just off the top of my head. Whenever a young dude get moneybthats the first thing they buy here, his influence over the younger urban kids is crazy. To the point I get mad cuz these ****** have 0 creativity, they post pics and their inspirational quotes talking bout dreams n ****. While meek has the majority of that crowd drake has.... Everyone else in between. Ask Wayne once u get the white people behind u u are good.

1000
Noooooooo

Like there not a ton of middle class and upper middle class black kids that never lived in the trap and would relate to Drake more.

Like we really gonna pull out the same ignorant stereotypes about our race to argue this for Meek.

How is it ignorant stereotypes..Black children in the hoods are very lost..from systematic oppression..most come from single parent homes...there school systems are broken...they feel their only way out is from drugs..start early in their youth..and end up in prison by the time they can vote..meek comes from and that..so that's why he might sounds ignorant most of the time...even he admitted on that Angie interview.. Once you get out of the hood you see things different..

Drake only fans are women, white ppl, and dudes that bleed monthly....Literally nobody else...Which one are you?
this is one of the worst post ever.

Even if true, i rather have a loyal fan base that is going to support ....

PS. Go to hoods and you see people blasting Drake ... Dude transcends stereotypes because he is rapping about stuff that no matter who you are or where you come from, it affects you.

I'm not even a fan ...

As said before, there are exceptions to every rule but were talking about majorities. I've seen blk people with confederate flag tats do that mean all blk or majority of blk people support it? And only reason I even brought it up because people wanna bring in record sales, when that really doesn't mean anything nowadays but why know whose fan base is who.

I think you are picking and choosing what you want to hear. I personally think people can relate to Drake ... The hustle of bagging females, relationships up and downs, etc than Meek yelling. Actually that's about the only thing I can see mostly everyone relating to, him screaming.

You make mention of Biggie ... Dude didn't only talk about moving weight, hr talk about a dream about having fun about ******* and money. Plus he was a logical genius. Jeezy and WuTang had/have bars man.

Talking about hood problem takes a special talent that Meek doesn't have. He type of rap doesn't allow him to connect to everyone.

PAC is the best ever about talking about hood problems and you see how he did it.

I just don't see how anyone could be siding with Meek on this issue ... He wants to talk about fake and he is sign to MMG .. I think that alone shoes the dude is salty and he is just trying to slander.

Don't see a difference between meek and jeezy..

And as for the rest I would have loved to see how pac and biggie would have been precived in this social media world..it was so different when they were around..Some times I think its better for them to be dead as far as how people see them...

I guess I'm not being objective as I think Meek is caca ...

Jeezy is a better lyricist IMHO. I just can't get past ask the screaming Meek.

Dude talks about being real and loyal but yet he is signed to MMG and he is seen with 50 cents on stage ... Who's really the fraud man?

Meek Mills sounds like every generic "I scream aggressive things into the microphone" rapper that has ever existed. Rap rotates these guys every 6 months.

hell no jeezy aint a better lyricist, dudes biggest excuse was always "im not a rapper im a trapper", he knew he was trash himself

meek being on stage with 50 doesnt mean they are friends, and the ross beef was way before meek was mmg

Look at majority of drake fan base tho... U go up there and watch those old videos of a young, spoiled, well spoken Canadian kid those are the dudes that buy his albums also. U think those dudes buy meek mill albums? They can't relate to a word he's saying probably don't even understand what's going on. Go back and look at old meek videos. U see a poor kid, trouble with the law, nappy braids walking around the hood free styling everyday n **** and that's his fan base. If I had to pick who I relate to more its meek seeing how growing up in Philly ain't to different than growing up in Detroit. I'm far from a super meek fan but I understand where son is coming from and dc1 the **** he was spitting I could relate too. I could see why Drake fan base is so big because seeing how hip hip is on a bigger scale and crossed over with this pop ****, they relate to son, teenage white kids love and support son.

ddrake is spoiled?

dude was making 50lk off acting and paying all his momma bills

Son was mad at his moms for not bringing him a tuna sandwich on a bagel man [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] he spoiled bro a tity baby

Since when was replying to a diss track on Twitter a part of Hip-Hop?  This isn't a "Hip-Hop" beef.  Crediting someone as a writer isn't the same as a "ghostwriter."  If you ask "The Lion" about Mass Appeal, he'll probably tell you about Nas's record label.  Miss me with these fake *** "Hip-Hop" dudes
