🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

Hate to be that guy cause I'll just be accused of Stannery but are we just gonna take everyone's word at face value who makes these claims?

This one seems like it has merit but still.
Everyone who has accused him

Has had first hand experience dealing with him lol

Even QM starting to send shots (i can no longer lie for you got me out here dodging interviews)

Bruh its crazy how much power drake has, people dont even care about how sketch he be looking in the light
laugh.gif

You dont hear this kind of stuff with cole sean kendrick etc

But with drake its people always accusing him of being a culture vulture, stealing swag, not writing his music, reference records leaking, riding other people's waves, its crazy

Then drake thinks a shoutout on a song / ig post will make it all okay
laugh.gif
***** gave you the swag to help you break the internet with the hotline bling video, riding his wave in the tmobile superbowl ad, all tht ****...and you offered him 500 dollars?
roll.gif
To be fair though

Lil Jay from Chicago was the first ***** I seen doing that

****** remix other peoples song all the time but if it aint good it doesnt pop off. Simple as that. Not defending anything but the "top spot" is there for the taking ****** just gotta make something hot, or hotter for that matter

DRAM didnt pop off with 'Cha Cha' because not enough people liked it...how many ****** blow up out of anywhere with a hot *** song? It's just not as hot as it's made out to be

In the same sense where 'Can I' and 'Right Hand' didnt blow up though Drake was banking on it
Cha Cha was a pretty big/rising record ironically until HB came out

So much so that people thought HB was a Cha Cha Remix when the snippets came out

Remember Beyonce singing to it on her IG or some ****

"OVO gang til I die...or at least for 2 weeks" - Mo-G

Dude is a terrible rapper but I feel bad for him...he was ecstatic in that MTV video

Kodak black the only young dude that handled his situation with Drake correct

Kodak was just like "Nah I don't want you remixing my ****. Gave some royalties" Dudes are hip to him trend hopping.

I think the Weeknd handled it good too. He used the co-sign to his benefit, gave Drake some records on Take Care. And used the extra exposure. Never signed to him. Ain't no doubt Drake woulda that _ writing song after song.

Mo G said they put him in the studio asking for new flows, hooks and bars

Views about to be GOAT tho he's embracing having writers

***** might have even went out and got Consequence and Rhymefest he's going all out

First off asking to get paid for a dance move, a phrase, or because somebody wore similar clothes is lame to me. If we handing out checks for that Kanye and Migos got money coming from the entire rap game.

If dudes giving Drake flows and bars for free who's really the fool here? I understand trying to get on but if you a small time rapper and Drake asks for a verse you just gonna give it to him? Hell naw bruh...I need my money up front and my writing credit to get my residuals. QM did it right, these other cats pimpin' in reverse.

i just don't get how many passes is this fraud gonna get, he should be really embarassed by all of this. his credibility is completely shot for real .:smh:

At the end of the day, all these little ****** ******ed for not handling business right. But moral of the story is, I don't wanna hear ****** say anything about goat this, top 10 rapper that. He goes in that Kanye artist category. This **** is good karaoke.

Drake is a pop star disguised as a rapper. I put homie in that Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber lane. Maybe that's why these accusations don't lower my view of him, I don't really consider him a rapper like a Jay, Cole, or Kendrick.

whether he makes good music or not, he's a fake, fraud and not even worthy of a top 10 or top 5 list. seriously i don't see this dude rapping for long, he'll probably go into acting again.

He's BEEN acting fym

i mean on a regular basis. do you actually see him rapping for long? even more that all of these allegations came out of him with ghostwriters. i don't see him rapping 10 years from now, let alone 5 years. i can see another 2 or 3 albums left in him.

That would be nice
Drake learned from birdman well. Instead of stealing money he stealing these ****** style and raps and they fall for it everytime. Dude looks sad as hell he fell for the okie doke.

yep

but at this point Drake gotta fall back from his arrogance as far as rap supremacy. He might as well just go full pop because those fans don't give a damn

or other artists might just go at his head which i doubt he'd want that. Drake picks his battles wisely, if a guy like Royce Da 5'9 who just recently mentioned him as not being a top lyricist over these ghostwriting accusations going at him it would be something different.

That's exactly what it is, pop... popular music. He finds creative minds to write, perform and sing/rap music and he puts it together and claims it. Nothing wrong with that as a pop artist, but in the genre of rap, nah. But again, these Lil ****** are dumb. U get paperwork for everything u do. Kodak black made me a fan just off the strength he got his business right. Like good looking on the computer sign, but if u rock with me put me on your song and let me get some of them royalties. Don't use me for my track.

Drake is basically Hip Hop's Rihanna. And just being real if Drake wasn't half black dudes would be screaming culture vulture.

If it came out D12 was writing Em's **** he would lose all credibility.
