Jay-z like Kanye west have nothing else to rap about. It's impossible for them to duplicate the hunger they once had, they've been filthy rich and successful for a long time. I'm cool on another hov album.

Basically. Ye's sound/producing/features kept Jay very relevant at the end of his career. I don't see anything wrong with calling it riding the wave either, it is what it is. A young(er) artist comes in with ideas and a new sound and influences the older dudes. Popularity doesn't determine riding the wave, I'm talking about collaborating with somebody with fresh ideas and a fresh sound to make your **** hotter. And that exactly what Jay did with Ye. And what Ye did with Cudi. And What Drake tried to do with the Weeknd, and Majid Jordan/Quentin Miller to a lesser extent.

TLOP already forgotten for me. It was pretty average at best but the fact that it'll never be physically released puts the nail in the coffin for me. Something about digital only albums always takes them off my radar. It's why I never go back to WATTBA. Can't wait for the physical copy of Views next week. It'll only make this album better.

not gonna lie i was in a very different point of my life when Take Care came out and it was scarily relatable.
but that doesnt mean its leaps and bounds better than Views because of that.

I'm talking about most of his music dealing with relationships (spanning all his body of work), when someone get married and been together for a good while nobody is going to listen to those songs like that when they're in their 30s and 40s.

Drake is in that Kanye territory now where he's just gonna drop lazy **** cuz he knows his stans will eat it up. Can't put Drake in any best rapper catergory or even best artist now with what Kevin Gates does with rapping and melodies.

blasphemy. comeback season? where? he was actually rapping AND rapping with a purpose on comeback season. dont just lump that in there. old drake rapped first with a touch of singing. this album is literally the opposite. so far gone you could make an argument for but you definitely trippin mentioning CSDrake goes back to Comeback Season/So Far Gone that the people swear they wanted but now everybody wants the new Drake
