🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

I used those 2 tracks for people who said they can't relate to the album. They need to listen to those songs and tell me he ain't speaking on something that you can relate too. It's like people expect him to throw on a Dashiki and start speaking about racial issues. Drake is the realest rapper maybe ever. He's not a fake like J Cole who acts like a wannabe activist for album sells. He ain't never had to diss someones else or have to develop stories in the media to sell albums. Drake always been himself and became one the biggest artists in music just by talking about his own life.

Hey, I mess with Born Sinner and Forest Hills Drive. Don't get me wrapped up in all that Cole talk  Don't need them ___s getting that subject going again in here.

I mean, you can't use two or three songs as enough fuel to say he was talking about something on a 17 song project

But, I don't know what people keep expecting him to talk about. He talks about himself and what's going on in his life/his city/what happened in the past, he talks about his crew, and he talks about women.

He's BEEN talking about these things, while just being creative about how he talks about them. Expecting a project full of topics outside of those is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I think people already know what to expect from dude. "I miss this girl" "I'm having fun with my crew" repeat. And he's not even doing it in a creative way anymore. Most of these songs sound the same. Some lazy rapping with a melo type ending.

Drake is the realest rapper maybe ever.

Final thought: Listened through it all the way through. Pretty good. Some tracks are meh, but a lot are

. Was expecting a lil more, idk.

People are so funny. Drake's content been the same his whole career. This album is no different. The flow and sound is a little different but not much. So many songs are straight up Drake. I'm not even a Drake Stan and people going in way too hard on this. This might be a his most car bangin album ever and that ain't a bad thing. Just throw it on and ride out. And these days how can people complain about lyrics when people prop up dudes like Migos and slim thug. There's actually only a few dudes in the rap that even do say something nowadays. It's not '95 anymore.

Drake is the realest rapper ever? srs? You don't have to stick up for him every single post breh, that has to be exhausting. Not everyone gonna like the tape

Some jokes I heard today about the album:

If you listening to that Drake album in the gym, you doing yoga

(the cover) when floyd mayweather writes a suicide note

(The cover) when white kids run away from home

I don't get the "if you reading this it's too late" and praying hands. Then you have a bunch of 6's like the devils calling or something.

Anyone care to explain?

It has nothing to do with just not liking the tape. It's people saying how doesn't talk about real **** in his music. We all know all that's a lie and I just want these dudes to own up to it.

Although I think this mixtape aka album is trash, I like Drakes music. I think he said it best one time, all he knows is woman issues and he raps about that. People can relate, I can. He keeps it real on that perspective. Still think he's a *****.

Mixtape has a few standout tracks, I guess i'll take it, glad these won't be on the album.....I better hear more 6 pm in New York and Drake rapping on the album, kinda getting tired of his worst behavior, 2 word, yelling, migos flow.

"Hey, remember that free thing I promised you? Well, I'm going to charge you for it now so I can get out of my contract and continue making money of you guys. Cool right?"

It's okay to be a fan of Drake but it's not okay to be an apologist. I didn't "reach"; I just stated what actually happened. Promising your fans a free product and then charging them for it is not a businessman making power moves.

I'm curious to see how people will justify paying for a mixtape. I never thought the music scene would become this horrid.
shut the **** up bruh
