I know it's early but I'm going to ovo fest(or at least try )
What would y'all suggest for me to get to Canada
I'm either flying outta San Francisco of San Jose
Any place y'all r ok end for cheap flights and maybe places to stay
I wanna plan it waaaaY AHEAD and set money aside for the trip
Any help or advice or experience would be appreciated
Also I want cheap
Gonna be taking my girl

if you want to thug it out and save money.......i would make a weekend out of it...

more than likely you will need a car and the direct flights will be expensive as **** anyways that weekend (T dots carnival and some other music fest usually falls that same weekend) ...

Fly to buffalo and drive across the border..flights are way cheaper domestically...and considering that you are flying from Cali...you might save 2-400.... its 1.5 hours from Niagara falls to Toronto

take some pics with ya gal at the border...drive into Toronto...peep the carnival show then cap it off with the ovo fest...you fool around and make ya girl your wife after that trip


Edit: I know because i went this year for a wedding...and decided to rent the car stateside and drive over...best experience of the year by far...went to a wedding, carnival, and ovofest

from my experience the major restaurants still take dollars when you go over like Subway, McDonalds etc...

your first opportunity to get Canadian dollars is as soon as you drive over the boarder...if you use a gps...make sure you have one with a Canadian map....i thought mine had it installed and i realized it was only a US map

i didnt really use the phone much, but catching wifi with my iphone proved clutch when sending imessages with fam or a quick facetime here or there for business

as for the hotels, im not too sure because the hotel i stayed at was where the wedding was 15 min outside of Toronto...i just drove everywhere from there...the room was expensive as **** tho..around 200 a night...

im sure they have cheaper rooms though but as a whole, Toronto is much more expensive then where im from (Houston) but it might be along the same range/cost of living as Cali
