"Cops is killing people with their arms up and your main focus is to harm us?"

Wow only time drake ever address what's going on in black America today is in a weak diss track. This is One of the many reasons I can't rock with drake. Seem he Music never touches on real struggles that comes with hip hop and being black in America why Cole n K.dot represent America hip hop better in this generation.

I thought that exact same thing.

He tried to lay a guilt trip in a diss song referencing a topic he doesn't bring up at ALL. And it was the same condescending way, well what about Chicago? But he's Canadian, right

No woman ever had me star struck

Cool track doe

This was probably one of the most sleep inducing disses ever. It's gonna get followed up with the loudest ear-throbbing diss ever from Meek

He's not a conscious rapper, why do you want him to speak on stuff he knows nothing about?  Let's be honest, Kendrick isn't exactly causing a movement either

.

He pretty much said it in 6pm in Ny

Maybe we should help somebody or be somebody
Instead of being somebody that makes the news so everyone can tweet about it
And then they start to RIP about it
And four weeks later no one even speaks on it
I just had to say my piece about it

That was his point. Why bring it up now then

Not it wasn't

Thought the line was out of place but he isn't that type of artist and he isn't American

What are J Cole and Kendrick doing that are moving the needle exactly?

Why would American hip hop need a former Canadian actor to represent it?

Don't speak on it at all. Stay in that lane. Don't use it ur raps if u really ain't bout it. Using a real issue that's going on just in America just don't sit right with me. Fake

Drake is quick to bring up Memphis or Houston, but now he's Canadian and America's problems aren't his.

Not it wasn't

Re-read his comment

because you're contradicting yourself

You say he's not conscious. As if only conscious rappers or people speak on real world issues. Yet a stripper can speak or find disgust in Sandra Bland or Eric Garner.

So if you're not conscious and aren't knowledgeable as you claim. Why are you speaking on it now, and in terms like you're worried about me writing, when you should be worried about this... It's condescending when Drake has been leading a Tiger Woods life.

Both the stans and the salty dudes are as equally hilarious

I never said the problems aren't his, I'm saying why would anyone want or expect Drake to represent American hip hop? Anyone can comment on social issues happening anywhere in the world

Like I said, the line was out of place. To feel offended by it is some whole other level of salt

The vast majority of rap songs about loving women are awful. These are no exception.

Jeeez who hurt you
Someone had to hurt me for me to think that a guy who raps about drugs money and killing all his haters would turn around and start going to candlelit dinners and all that?

No. Rap songs about loving women are usually disingenuous and bad.

Only a few can do it well and he is not one of them

diss is pretty boring, Meek gonna scream his lungs out now  but as long as Drake responds back to some Stay Schemin type steez i'll be satisfied

He's a wealthy Jew that wants to be Arab, what problems does he have and why would he care what's happening to blacks? I think Drake speaking for black america is a joke. He's from Canada and a white neighborhood. His closest friends are white Arabs.

What were the shots he threw in the song?

I'm damb near in every race thread but.....

This is some of the most pettiest nonsense I've ever read

I mean how can dude call Drake feminine, when you'll take offense to everything the man says.

On some valley girl "I just don't like her" steez

And I heard someone say something that stuck with me a lot
'Bout how we need protection from those protectin' the block
Nobody lookin' out for nobody

Maybe we should try and help somebody or be somebody
Instead of bein' somebody that makes the news

So everybody can tweet about it
And then they start to R.I.P. about it

Damn, I just had to say my piece about it
Oh, you gotta love it

Brah folk gonna have to listen to Meek's response on mute or else they might pop an ear drum

Can't wait doe :smokin

Not a direct diss but everyone know who's he referencing
That unnamed person is gonna react and come off looking even more hurt, set ups like this have been going on forever. Drake is playing this dude by being 2 steps ahead.
Drake mentioning meek, does more for meek than meek mentioning drake does for draje
As far as naming names, drake has an ongoing professional relationship with Nicki so he might be holding back because of her. I can see that as a reason he didn't mention her...

*waits for meek to reply sounding like he got popped by grease while Cooking
