It's a truth that Drake never hid though. He's spoken on numerous occasions about people helping him write. Unless you have proof to show people that Drake's verses were written by someone else, what are you really doing? Causing a **** storm about a very common practice in rap? Why?

Nah I'm just putting some thoughts out there for debate, no matter which way you slice it, Drake is the superior artist of the two (imo)
Like many have said already, Meek is trapped in this box where his music/lyrics won't advance...his stuff is pretty condensed throughout his career
IMO (again), Drakes past before music has little to no effect to where he is now, when actually based on most peoples logic, he "should" be less accepted or not accepted at all in this rap world because he didn't come from the streets and not rap about conciousness, plus he was on tv. But look how he made it, only focused on making good music

Only time I spoke on drake not talking about social issue is when people say all meek do is talk about money..women and drugs in which I response...don't everybody including drake...
But I do hear in interviews meek talk about stuff that really happening in urban areas..about the cop problem..how young kids are growing up thinking killing and selling drugs are cool...how black children aren't describe as sick when they do things when their young..stuff I never hear drake talk about because he doesn't come from that..
Which is cool by me..I don't listen to drake for that and don't even expect it from him..

I know a lot of Hood ***** that mess with Drake. These dudes barely know and don't care about his past. They aren't listening to him to relate to him, they are just listening passively to enjoy the music lol. It's cool to like Drake, and he is relatable to women, teens, middle class, upper middle class, the average hip hop listener etc.
I also know that the hood relates to meek more though. As corny meek is, they know he's really from the trenches and embodies the materialistic aspirations for those that come from nothing.
And meek can go bar for bar with Drake. His problem is he gets stuck in trendy flows and 85% of his subject matter is the same.
When he's locked in and not yelling or not rhyming about Rollie's/Audemars/Balenciaga's/Ghost's...he can really spit.

Thats every rapper though...as great as pac was, some think biggie was better, and vice versa, I know not everyone feels them, which is why we have so many different artists now
