Yup. Grammies don't mean sht. Eminem won one in like 2015
.Views is a hip hop album though. Just a lot of Carribean influences, which is still URBAN MUSIC.
As stated before, I'm not really a drake fan....but I'm objective. I enjoy one dance and Controlla. I like Grammys with Hendrix. The rest of the album is meh. He'll get the Grammy....but it's no real reflection of the record.
I don't hear to many people bumping views, but I know the hoodest of hoodest ppl who bought views off the strength of the hype...and them liking a few tracks.
Drake isn't Eminem or Mackelmore or Vanilla Ice.....he has widespread appeal across every demographic. Very strategic too. Trap sht for the urban crowd, pop sht for the masses, pseudo-reggae for the international crowd.
He knows what he's doing.
