🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

It's been said before. Jay went at Nas, Prodigy, Jaz, Jim, 50. All directly. He ignored Cam cuz it was obvious dude was looking for attention and or he ain't respect Cam. He gave Jim the attention over Cam.
He responded to cam on dig a hole what are you talking about ?

He ignored him for a year straight. By the time Dig A Hole came out nobody cared. Cam had a "press conference" tryna promote that.

Rap fans weird. ***** would have been better off ghosting for Meek.

Drake responded to Meek because he questioned his integrity, same thing Joe doing. Joe not relevant to warrant a response because he's a washed up rapper with a podcast. That lil podcast the biggest rapper in the game caught wind of and decided to throw a sub because what was said on there.

Drake threw a sub and Budden responded with bars, a lot of them.

Y'all really can't compare Hov responding to relevant rappers and legends.....to Drake responding to Joe Budden.

Nas, 50, Cam, Jim, Prodigy are tiers above Budden both in star power and musically....and I rocked with Budden in the early 00s.....Pusha man was my sht :pimp:. But there is no reason for Drake to respond here.

This the same ****** that came out the gate saying "diss me and you'll never hear a reply for it". Him and Joe not eem beefing.

Unless a ****** backs Drake into a corner like meek did on Twitter...Drake doesn't need to respond.

Drake Ties Michael Jackson’s Record with ‘Views’ & ‘One Dance’

Drizzy is still dancing on top.

Drake’s Wizkid and Kyla-assisted hit “One Dance” remains No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for an eighth non-consecutive week. As reported yesterday, Views also sits atop the Billboard 200, marking its ninth consecutive week in that spot.

This puts the 6 God up there with Michael Jackson. Thanks to those distinctions, he ties MJ for “the longest-ever simultaneous domination” of both charts by a male artist, as per Billboard.

The records continue to pile up for Drake. With seven consecutive weeks atop the Hot 100, Drake also ties for “the longest consecutive control of the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously among males.” This places him alongside the King of Pop, who did that in 1983 with “Billie Jean” and Thriller.

The last time any artist was able to achieve this feat was 1992-93 when Whitney Houston held 12 straight weeks at the top of the Hot 100 with “I Will Always Love You” and the Billboard 200 with The Bodyguard soundtrack.

Young Legend gonna Young Legend :pimp:

The fact that we're even comparing what Drake should do to what Jay has done shows the tier in which Drake is in.

I mean it's evident they are the biggest and most successful (or in Hov's case, one of the most successful) rappers in their respective times was it necessary to take this opportunity to slob him some more?

I would agree with this if Drake himself wasn't a Joe Budden fan but he is. Y'all can't just write dude off when Drake himself loves the dude.

At the height of jays popularity he was dissing them Harlem world ******. Even dissed Nas brother Jungle. And like I said earlier Em, the highest selling rapper ever was going at Benzino. Relevancy shouldn't matter when it comes to rap battles.

I wasnt saying it in a way to "slob" him I was saying...it wouldnt be surprising if Drake took the high road, like others have mentioned, Drake has nooo benefit in responding compared to what he's trying to accomplish in his career, which is still ascending. He managed to leverage Back 2 Back to his benefit bcause Meek is relevant. What does he have to gain from dissing Joe?

Relevancy does matter man. Dropping a few bars here and there are expected.

But y'all expecting Drake to respond with a 5min full diss track for Joe Budden?

For what?

Respect from the purist fans.

But I've already said he probably won't and probably shouldn't. Not only is Budden is built for this and has nothing else to really focus his attention on; "respect" from hardcore hip hop heads wouldn't mean much to me if I was about to be double platinum and playing with Rihanna's butt cheeks every night. So **** it. Especially since most dudes already have their mind made up on him.

That Wake track does not sound like it came out in 2016, flow sounds so dated.

At the end of the day ya might get a subliminal at most from Drake. Joe was slurping him all over the podcast, can't take this "beef" serious.

Can someone answer why did Drake respond already and then put it on hold? He's irrelevant and a podcaster but he heard that podcast and responded. Y'all contradicting yourselves. The few saying he's irrelevant and washed up, doesn't need to respond looking real silly.

Probably because him and future have the biggest rap summer tour coming up in a few days and they're getting ready for that. I'm assuming to him Stuff like that is way more important than budden and his podcast

Right. He was so busy that he dissed him on the French song and shot a video while playing it for people at pool parties. Busy busy busy man.

**** took a shot at him. So what.

Y'all acting like Drake should dedicate two 6 minute diss tracks to Joe Budden .

Drake going to throw some lines here and there...and keep it moving. What more should he do. There's no need to trade diss tracks with budden.

If all five of these disses see the light of day...

I want to hear 5 PM in New Jersey
