🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

5 am in Toronto, Club Paradise, Too Much, From Time, Look What You've Done, SFG. That's just what I felt like posting for now.

Drake really has the most memorable catalogue of any rapper post 2010 :pimp:

To them all of a sudden all timeless songs gotta be hardcore

Their defense mechanisms are laughable

To be fair it too soon to know if his songs are timeless or not, all those other songs listed have nostalgia on their side and when it comes to sports and music, nostalgia is undefeated.

Which is why I said it's too early to tell.

There's no reason why a song like Started From The Bottom can't be "Timeless" if DJ Khaled's "All I do is win" is timeless.

You all have to remember that Drake appeals to this emotional and relationship generation. When these children and teenagers grow up and possibly get married and have their own children I highly doubt they will be listening to Drake's emotional music because they most likely have their spouse and understand they have other things to worry about like their children and taxes.

That's silly. That's like saying rnb from the 90s and 2000s don't hit no more cuz it's "emotional"

Anyways, what brings you haters back to the drake thread? Kendrick thread not poppin?

So the ending of 9, that song is titled "Please Forgive Me," the same name of the Views Film that's coming out soon.

Man if he's going to release unfinished songs, then the end of the non album version of All Me should be first up

Side note this verse was the start of the Big Sean run.

Hated both the features on that song, 2 trash came thru with a garbage verse as usual and I didn't like big Sean all off beat and ****.

And bet I'm ready for that "please forgive me"

Something odds going on in Cali man. Son has his jersey tucked into his shorts like he's 68

The "timeless" songs I'd give Drake credit for or rather performed is Fancy and Find your love. Possibly Hotline Bling or Jumpman.

Coming from a super hip-hop head, I believe you can have New timeless songs.

Just like we have New classic cds(GRODT,The Documentary). Vs old classics (doggystyle /Reasonable Doubt)

Are Drakes songs as timeless or even on the same level as Doin it by LL or Hail Mary by Pac of course not.

One dance is garbage and Hold on where going home is too lite to ever be considered

Please Forgive Me...for ruining rap with struggle bars that I didn't write and softness.

And  at cats tryna move goal posts by saying timeless rap songs is all hard. That's what timeless rap is, that real ****. Not that weak ****.

Didn't say "hard" I said real. Big dinference.

Ain No Half Steppin
I Need Luv
You Gotta Fight
My Name Is

All timeless and classic rap songs. None of them is hard.

Notice how every song being posted called timeless and classic is from the 90's and 80's? Again that's nostalgia kicking in, and it hasn't been long enough for that to kick in with drake. Time will tell
