Everybody knows it's a steady grind to the top. Son only got 1 album. Went Gold and had two MAJOR singles. Gates is fine. Plus he gotta spot on the Suicide Squad soundtrack.(the track is flames btw) bouta open up a whole new fan base.

Even with streams people struggle to go gold. Meek Mill sold like 400k in half a year and although that album aged like milk he's got a hotter buzz than Kevin Gates who's creeping up on 800k.
